If I could give this place a zero star I would. We got married at Chateau Pomije in June of 2014. We first loved this place and location due to the views and options that the venue offered.
Things quickly fell apart. The event manager we worked with, she was trying to push and hold us to a "new" contract, prices, and standards on us that we did not sign. We had to fight with her to hold them to the contract we signed.
For the wedding, the winery did not put out enough seats for the ceremony. People had to seat on the patio away from the ceremony. It wasn't about us not having enough seating, they just did not put out the correct number of seats when we confirm the numbers with them. They did not even bring out more chairs.
We paid for a champaign toast for the whole reception attendees and they only brought out enough bottles for the wedding party. They still tried to charge us for the full price of reception attendees when we approached them after the wedding date.
We had an open bar and THEY RAN OUT OF BEER AND SOME LIQUORS two hours into the reception. They were not stocked as they should have been.
While we still enjoyed our wedding, the enjoyable part were the people and memories we made that day. The worst memories about our wedding all revolved around the management of our wedding with the winery and their inability to manage the wedding (which is what we also paid for in the contract).
Be careful when looking to plan a wedding at this location, unless they changed management or event manager for the location, after June 2014. Maybe they righted the ship.

This winery does have some redeeming qualities, but they are below average overall. We bought a Groupon for a wine tasting package. Here were our likes and dislikes:
LIKES:
-Nice scenery
-Comfortable interior setting
-Giant fireplace
-Calming music
-A take-home bottle of wine with the Groupon
DISLIKES:
-A couple pieces of our cheese were moldy
-Wine tasted old
-They do not seal their open wine bottles, they CORK them, which left sandy particles at the bottom of the wine
-There was a bug in my water
-Told everyone that came in that they were very busy, but there were only a few people there
-They focused on a wedding that was being set up for the next day rather than the customers in there paying to drink wine
They are too focused on the weddings that they host there, and they ignore the winery side of things. They can't put effort into one thing and ignore the other. I mean come on, you need to seal opened bottles of wine, NOT cork them. That's winery 101. It makes the wine taste horrible. If you own a winery, you should know that. To have to make a reservation, and only be able to do so on Friday and Saturday nights, that is way too much trouble for a below average experience.

Like to give a review, but they never opened today, ups note stuck to door, and that's it, looks nice from the outside. It would be nice had you put your "new " tasting hours on your website, we were not the only ones .

I chose to start my bachelorette party at Chateau Pomije, and boy am I glad that I did. The place is SO pretty. I never even knew the place existed until planning my party. We were set up with a nice selection of cheese, crackers, meat and olives and plenty of delicious wines in their selection for our tasting. Shelley was incredible to work with through the whole process and was amazingly sweet. Fawn was our server that day and I could rave on about her for days. So sweet, super knowledgeable and all around fun fun fun! She even made us up score cards to rate the wines! The winery was set up for a wedding and it was stunning. I would recommend Chateau Pomije for a wedding, party anything!

My husband and I were married at Chateau Pomije in September 2016 and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting or helpful team. Shelley was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions we had during the planning process. Shelley and the team were able to execute our vision for the ceremony and reception while providing their expert suggestions on details we hadn't thought of. We had an outdoor evening ceremony and the reflection of the sun setting over the trees on the lake was absolutely breathtaking. After the nuptials, one of our photographers made mention that this was one of if not the most picturesque venues he'd shot all season. Our guests enjoyed a variety of meal options and the bar service was top notch. What an experience to share the estate-bottled wines with our closest friends and family! Chateau Pomije was able to accommodate even our vegetarian guests with a tasty entree. We so enjoyed our experience and wouldn't have changed a thing. Thanks again Shelley and team for making our special day unforgettable.

Amazing wedding and/or reception venue. Food was tasty (we had the ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, and salad), cash bar was super cheap but the alcohol was fantastic, and the setting was beautiful. Parking was no trouble at all, the place was clean, and the staff was very helpful. Shelley was very responsive and helped us achieve the best night of our lives. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend this venue to everyone!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the winery. Shelly was very helpful and a great hostess. The atmosphere was casual but very nice. We were in a quiet room where everyone could converse and hear what was being said. The food was delicious and serving size appropriate. We enjoyed the view from the room where we overlooked the pond with deer grazing near by. I was very pleased and would recommend the Chateau for a quiet meal or rehearsal dinner.
