My cold brew coffee was flavorful and robust without much acid - perfect for the style. My son's oatmeal raisin cookie was also a hit. My bagel felt lackluster without the chew crust and soft crumb you expect. The more uniform texture might be a consequence of roasting though - I am not sure. The cafe itself is open, airy, and comfortable. It is a very pretty space that feels like a cafe without resorting to looking like a Starbucks. I will come back for breakfast to try one of their highly rated breakfast sandwiches and get more delicious coffee. I would not come back just for a bagel.

My wife and I went to Salt and Light for the first time today and we can’t wait to go back. The restaurant itself is very cozy and inviting. I had the pulled pork breakfast burrito and it was amazing. My wife had the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had. I typically prefer savory over sweet for breakfast but I’d order the lemon ricotta pancakes again for sure. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and being introduced to his family who also work there. They were all very polite and you could tell they were grateful for our business. I highly recommend Salt and Light to everyone. Thank you for a great meal and awesome service. We’ll be bringing our family in very soon.

Nice little space. I had some great avocado toast, bacon, an earl grey scone, and a coffee. Prices are kinda high for some of the food items, but generally alright. A lot of things were out of stock when I came, including pour over coffee, which I found strange (and disappointing). One thing I’ll give them huge props on compared to other cafes/coffee shops is that they didn’t have the music on too loud.

Every Saturday I go out and get my husband and I an egg & cheese on focaccia with a latte and wet look forward to it every time. Honestly their lattes are the best in the area and I've been to a lot of cafes. I love I can order ahead of time and pick it up. The worst part of the place is the parking but I won't hold it against them.

Love it here. Food is always fresh and spot on. Cold brew coffee is very good. Baked goods are delicious. Always my first choice for a weekend breakfast out. Never disappoints.

Haven't been here since pre-covid. Food is still awesome (if not even better than before). Also shout-out to the chef/owner for actually caramelizing the onions. I hate when a menu item says caramelized onions and they come out sauteed. So thank you for restoring my faith in humanity via a breakfast sandwich

I cannot even begin to say enough good things about Salt & Light. When I was a local, I visited the cafe every weekend for the cold brew cinnamon buns and a matcha latte. Now, I live an hour away... and still drive there some weekends to get brunch. THAT'S how good it is. The owners are both amazing people and the staff there is always so, so kind. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the owners implemented delivery and curbside pickup as well as the option to purchase meals for local frontline workers. They really stepped up during a time of need and have solidified that I will be a lifelong customer. This place is a must-have.

We visited here after biking from Ayer on the rail trail. You still can't go in (May 2021, COVID) but someone came right out to take our order and was very friendly and helpful. We got a blueberry scone, glazed donut, glazed with sprinkles, and cinnamon raisin knot, all of which were delicious. The blueberry scone was my favorite! We'll definitely go back. I would love to try their salads, sandwiches and drinks too!
