First time eating here today. I called to order carry out. The girl (Mary) on the phone was very rude when taking my order and also very rude when picking up my order. And heaven forbid they give you a bag for your food or silverware with your to go order. I heard so many good things about this place . However i more than likely will not be returning due to the lack of customer service.

Food is generally good. Most food at this restaurant is homemade. The restaurant is family owned and non-franchised. If you are passing through Gridley it may be worth trying. The staff has always been nice and attentive.

The fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy are the BEST I’ve had from a restaurant in as long as I can remember. I highly recommend.
