Haven't been to a Taco John's in a while so was really looking forward to having some potato oles and I wasn't disappointed. The food was fresh and the potato oles were nice and crunchy and covered in that distinct seasoning. The staff was very friendly and professional, which is nice as many other restaurants seem to have gone down hill in the customer service, professional ism and respect aspect. I was very pleased with my visit and with the food.

If I could give Zero Stars I would.
Every time we go the Order is never correct.
Today went through drive ordered Burrito Combo and a Single Taco Bravo. Paid $15+
Come to find out they tried to give me a Taco Salad Instead of the Bravo. Explained that it was not what I ordered. They then made the Bravo, I then asked for the cost difference
Refunded to me from the salad which they charged me for. I was told it was the same price. Not accurate at all
7,19 for salad 3,40 for Bravo. So I got ripped off again. Attention to detail and Management Sucks. Contacted Cooperate In Wyoming.
We will see. It's not about the price it All The Lazy Service.

I normally love Taco Johns, and never had problems at other locations. I was excited that this place had truck parking nearby. My nachos were ok, a bit light on the topping (I had to buy extra nacho cheese), but my chicken boss bowl wasn't very good at all and none of it tasted fresh. After eating I had some gross smelling burps. Later this evening was spent on and off the toilet with bad diarrhea and painful stomach cramping. The health department might want to check this place out. I didn't eat out anywhere else in the past 24 hours, so I'm 100% I got sick here.

Love taco johns, but very disappointed and still hungry after my last visit. Order was completely wrong, missing 2 items and got a whole thing of extra potato oleys. No hot sauce. Paid $15 for one person to have the order wrong and not going to drive back 5 miles to exchange order. Very disappointing

On our recent trip in June, we stopped at several Taco John's. Two had good food at very reasonable prices with fast service. That's why we stopped again. A third one (in Minnesota) was obviously struggling (possibly due to the extreme heat wave). This was the 4th, and the only one I'm reviewing because the crew touched my heart (and fed my stomach). The first thing I noticed was that they have Daily Specials. Nice! :) Then I noticed that the ladies room was out of paper and reported it to the young man taking orders. He was new (maybe first day) and immediately went to find someone to help. (We were the only ones there at the moment.) Another young man came with plenty of paper and the new one went with him to learn. We placed our order. Food was very good, and service was fast. As we ate, I noticed that members of the crew were checking supplies in the dining area, sweeping, serving other customers, teaching each other. The manager was also providing direction. These crew members were all eager to WORK, serve their customers, and to help each other learn. What a TEAM! The manager confirmed that indeed this was a new team. She's a great manager, and she has a great team. Highly recommend this location because this team is eager to do their best!

Last two times I have came here they ask if I want cheese with the potato oles. Of course I do, it's delicious. So I say yes and they charge me for it but then it's never in the bag. Seems to be common theme. Same issue with location on like 55th and L st.

Service was terrible. Took me 20 minutes or more just for them to take my order. There were 4 cars in front of me. When I got to the speaker it took them another 5 minutes to take my order. The girl who took my order was rude as hell, had a really bad attitude. They lost 3 customers behind me because of the wait time. Won't be going back.

Normally, I am very pleased with the food / service at this location, BUT NOT THIS TIME.
It started when I got to the store at 8;30 p.m. to find the lobby doors locked, when they are supposed to be open til 10;00 p.m . Ok, I'll do the drive thru. If the lobby would have been open, everything else could have been avoided.
I placed my order, SPECIFING that I wanted to SUBSTITUTE the beans with beef on 2 taco bravos. I also ordered a small potato oles and 2 churros.
I pulled up to the pickup window and paid for my order.
When I got home, unpacking the order, NO POTATO OLES WERE FOUND. Start eating the taco bravos, and realize that there's NOTHING between the soft and hard shells, where the beans normally are. I look at the receipt, and it was rang up NO BEANS, EXTRA BEEF. I don't believe the extra beef was there either.
Then, the churros we're cold, and hard as a rock, and not edible.
It is very difficult to pull things out of a bag in your car to verify your order. As I said earlier, all these errors could have been avoided if the lobby were open. Will be contacting the manager early next week.
