I drove 389 miles to see my son at college during a short break for this...... College students and parents are treated like garbage in the town.. ask your kid.
Wow! a terrific nightmare, And not because it's Halloween season..... Our waitress was decently friendly, took our order in an appropriate time. Then that was it for 40 minutes.... The business was cleaner, structurally designed friendlier and appealing to the eye. Nicely open and airy. When we placed our order 3 gentlemen, "loosely termed, but not dishevelled", walked in hugged another waitress sat down placed their order and 10 minutes later were eating. I got the attention of our waitress spread my hands over our table and asked, "where our food was". I got to eat with my son 30 minutes later. Remember 40 minutes..... I mind waiting for good food. Because it's good. That's why we eat out. Sometimes... This was the same ingredients I could have purchased at an unmentionable, "Mart", and not from scratch. Frozen rubbish. I am only disappointed In myself, as we were walking out the door I heard our waitress say in the back kitchen, " great now I'm not going to get a tip". I had a 400 mile trip back home to think about how I was treated. I came to the conclusion it wasn't my waitress' fault. I think she did everything right. I believe the other waitress bumped our ticket or my ticket made love to the floor. Accidentally of course. Either way go somewhere else...
Last note. It was dead.
Believe it or not another guy placed an order next to us and was eating 5 minutes later. This was after we received our trough bucket

Good service. Good food
Both of us had breakfast. Well cooked sausage. He had rye toast and I had a delicious chocolate chip muffin. Love their breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. Good experience.

The good was good, service was very poor. Heather was out waitress, never brought our beverage while waiting for our good, had to ask for it. She never asked us if we'd like anything else, had to have another waitress get our waitress so we could get dessert. Restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, let 2 girls off the floor.

I have always had great food here. Love the new menu items. Jenn Grace is best waitress. She takes care of you from the time you sit down until you are walking out the door. Always bright and cheery atmosphere.

Staff was nice and professional. The salad you could tell was made up ahead of time and stored for when it was needed had that old fridge taste. The turkey melt was ok. The turkey was cold and the cheese was cold must have sat there a bit after it was done before it was brought out to me. Was not impressed at all wouldn't eat here again.

17 of us at one huge table and a new waitress!! LOL!! Surprisingly, she did a pretty darn good job! I didn't ask how everyone else's meals were, but mine was fine. Hubby ordered a huge breakfast meal that he said tasted like old grease was used to cook it...it was "off" a little bit. Because my husband and I are both veterans, we took advantage of the 20% discount offered all year round (surprise!) so our meals were very inexpensive! Very appreciative of the discount! Thank you!!

Friendly wait staff. Relaxed atmosphere. A good selection of food, decent portion sizes and prices. Bakery often has large "Texas muffins" and various pies etc. Pies might be a little on the expensive side, but are tasty.

Food was a terrible salty processed disaster. My husband got the french dip sandwich and it looked like it had been sitting out for a week. It was so dry and burned. The potato soup was so salty, he couldn't eat it. I got the chicken and biscuits. My gravy was cold, the hashbrowns were raw and the cheese wasnt even melted. The waitress was super nice. But the food was AWFUL. If I could give no stars I would
