Had a Chance to take my family to eat at 42 Fry after purchasing a vehicle from the owner Monte Williams. Wow! What a surprise! The food was amazingly good! Cook perfectly and seasoned just right! Our daughter is a freshman and signed with ECU women’s basketball team and I can promise you each time we come to Greenville NC to see her play we will be visiting 42 Fry each time! 5 Star restaurant all day! The place is clean along with great customer service!

42 Fry was given to me at work. Everybody was like go to 42 Fry if you want some fried fish or just seafood period. They talked about this place with so much excitement that I have no other choice but to try this place. I went online and placed an order for fried trout extra crispy, jumbo shrimps, boneless chicken, sweet potato pie. Everybody, everything was warm to the touch and very tasty. I mean, I do believe that they have the best seafood yet. Not salty at all. I enjoyed my food from this place and see the pictures I have taken after getting my food. All this food came to $45.00, and I was pleased, so it was worth this price to me. I will be ordering again in the future. Ordered Again, Date: 06/26/2021 Today I order again, and this time something was off like the trout tasting fishy or weird not fresh to me, it didn't taste like this the first time, and they forgot my sweet potato pie that I ordered. I really don't know what to say, is that this time the food was okay and not as good as the first time. I added more pictures from this last order. Here's my issues, forgetting something from someone's order is not good at all. I don't know what was going on, but I paid a good amount of money and for them to forget any item from my order is not okay. I paid over $50.00 which included the tip for the delivery driver.

Visiting our son this weekend and decided to give this place a try. Aquila Clark and her team were very courteous as we decided what to order and brought out the food hot and fresh. The dining area and restrooms were very clean. Across the four of us, we had shrimp, catfish, oysters, flounder, Mac n cheese, okra, fried corn on the cob, fries and hush puppies. Serving sizes were plentiful and the food quality was as good as other seafood restaurants in the area that charge nearly twice the price in some cases…there were no complaints from out table. Fried options were not overly breaded but just right. The hush puppies were on point as an extra side. Dessert was brought home and looks delicious…just still full from all the great entrees. We all agreed that we will return to try some of the other great menu options. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I love seafood and I cook it all the time!! I'm sometimes skeptical about trying new places here in Greenville. I went in open minded and was blown away by not only the food but the exceptional customer service I received from Shaniyah who took my order. She was so friendly and she also gave me great suggestions as well. The company is lucky to have hired a young lady who is so sweet and respectful. I definitely will be visiting again very soon!!!

We have been looking for good real seafood and they have the best. I compare it to my husband's seafood when we fry a bunch up at home. We just don't get the chance to very often so I'm super stoked that we found a place to satisfy our craving without having to do all the cooking. Awesome customer service. We will definitely make it a weekly or biweekly thing for lunch.

I came to visit my family this past week and was recommended to try this restaurant. The food was amazing and so were the people! One of the workers, Cam gave me some really great advice on what I should try (catfish nuggets) and his customer service was great! I’ll definitely be back next time in town :)

My husband has a slight allergy to cornmeal and today was his first time trying the food at this restaurant. This is the ONLY place he didn't have a reaction. The food was AWESOME! We plan on going back many more times. The lady's were very friendly. It was a 5 star all the way.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a deluxe flounder fish sandwich with fries and a sweet tea. THE TEA WAS SPOILED!!! It tasted like it had been sitting there for days and it had the consistency of SYRUP! I tried the soda out of the dispenser and it was flat. Finally I just got a bottle of water. The fish was good. However, the tomatoes on the sandwich tasted like cleanser. I paid $17 for my meal and ended up throwing it away. VERY UNSATISFIED!!!!
