Michaelangelos Pizza

First time at this location and just wanted to add my thoughts of the visit. First, I found the associates very nice and welcoming. Just to let you know if a little background I migrated to NC from Buffalo NY. The pizza in my d hometown is very flavorful and enticing and you will want to over eat because you can’t get enough. I have had the pizza at a different location and found it good. One think I like about Michelangelo's is you can get a single slice instead of a whole pie. We got a slice while waiting for our order of pizza and wings. They have inside dining and seats labeled so you know which are available for sitting so they help with accommodation of the 6ft rule. We noticed that tables that you can't sit are clean but many tables were dirty with crumbs and stains, leaving you to wipe them down. Now we didn't ask any one to clean up, we just took it on ourselves because there was a line.. I went to wash my hands and every time I have to push to enter, you can bet you have to grab a handle to exit. Many businesses don't have an understanding or care that all customers don't was their hands, even during the pandemic. Even McDonald's installed the little kickers at the bottom of the doors so you don't have to touch the handle. Unfortunately almost every thing in the bathroom requires you to touch and therefore possibly spread germs. Lastly we got our pizza and wings and I can only say it was OK. Don't know if it's because the sauce was minimal or it was they add minimum spices because some don't like spicy foods but it in my opinion was lacking. Even the medium hot wings in my opinion are in need of flavor. I do think they are worth a try but feel they can do better.

This is a large buy by the slice type of place. They make large pizzas. I ordered a small thinking I could share it with my gf. It was 16 inches which is the size of an extra large at your typical nationwide franchise. Good pizza though, less is better type of pizza. Not the type of pizza that can handle a meat lovers or everything specialty type of pizza.

We are staying at a hotel in Atlantic Beach so we ordered dinner from here. I got a Chef Salad and when we got back to the Hotel room, there was NO PLASTIC WARE to eat it with. The salad was warm, small and the lettuce was wilted. WORST PLACE EVER. STAY AWAY or go there if you want to eat with your fingers.

After seeing over 4 stars I wanted pizza other then Domino's, ,Michaelangelo close at 10pm so I called around d 9:25 to pick up my pies, I don't like reheated pizza or soft skin wings, placed a order for 3 fresh pies , and 2 orders of wings well done, went to pick up my order about 10 mins to closing, everything was boxed up felt nice and warm..got home soft skin wings , 3 old pies reheated ....and 2 had pepperoni, and I don't eat pork....maybe you gotta go there early to order , but don't serve BS to a customer,wasted 80.00 for trash food, still turned around and order from Domino's....old reliable...

I will NEVER eat food from this place again!!! The food was terrible!!! I ordered chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and got the worst creation of food ever. The chicken was deep fried so hard and then chopped into tiny pieces which was spread over the top of the sauce which had cheese sprinkled on top. Then it was placed in an oven to cook some more. (See picture enclosed) I ordered an extra large pizza with extra cheese. This pizza had no taste and the crust was bland. There was no seasoning to the sauce at all. This is supposed to be an authentic Italian restaurant. To top it off the cooking staff had no hair nets on while cooking. They had ball caps on but their hair was loose hanging. ☹️
