If you want to feel welcomed in this restaurant during dinner, don't bring children. We were looking for local authentic Italian food and chose this one based on all the wonderful google reviews. I called before we drove over to make sure this was a family restaurant - unfortunately no one answered the phone. Since it said it was a pizzeria, I figured it would suit all of our diners. When we walked in, we were seated at a table that was between two exterior doors - I requested we be moved further into the dining area as we had two babies (along with other children) and the weather was a chilly 40 degrees. The lady owner loudly announced that was the 'children's section only' (we should have left at this point). Apparently, the hostess didn't know that, as she had seated several other patrons in the front couple of tables. We ordered. All at our table were well behaved, and occupied. We then listened as the owner lady came up to table close to us and asked an older couple (who didn't complain and had actually smiled friendly at us) if they wanted to move because they were in the 'children's section'. Crazy rude! I shared a pizza with some of the children and it was good. One of the men with us had spaghetti and meatballs, when our table was cleared he had only eaten the pasta and not one of the meatballs - said they were not good. Overall, we could have overlooked the food, if the welcome could have been better. I think they want this to feel like a fancier restaurant, but it is hard to be that, with people running in and out all through dinner in their sweats to pick up a to-go pizza. I am sorry we spent our family time and money in this restaurant.

My calzone was excellent, but my girlfriend got the sphagetti and it tasted like it came out of a can. The meatballs were soggy and tasteless. The sauce was terrible as well. When we told our waitress about the spaghetti she just apologized. There was no offer to make it right or compensate us.

The service was OK but the food has no flavor or taste to it. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and I feel like I spent $10 on chef boyardee spaghetti and meatballs.
If you are thinking about doing something quick it's fine but don't expect gourmet anything. Salads have too much in the, bread is tasteless and bland.
I don't know why people are posting such rave reviews on things, perhaps I got a bad entree.

The owners were SO friendly that that just added icing to the cake of an all around amazing dining experience. Lovely atmosphere, food in the Naples (southern Italy) style that is simply the BEST. My wife and I loved everything about this place and my picky mother, who is quick to complain, was totally satisfied.

What? Do my eyes deceive me? I cannot believe the last review!
My family has eaten at this restaurant ever since it opened. It is our favorite. The food is authentic Italian! It is TASTY with a lot of FLAVOR! Go on TripAdvisor and read all the wonderful comments from visitors. The food is delicious, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you like TRUE Italian food....you MUST go to Illianos!

Food was AMAZING!!! Our waitress however, not so much. She kept asking if we wanted a box even though we were still eating and reached across my friends plate to take a menu and her silverware even though we were still eating.
