I haven’t had Japanese ramen style soup in about 8 years. Other reviews I’ve read seem to be very favorable, so this place must make some good ramen, but it’s not my preference. I’m more into Vietnamese pho or Thai soup.
The broth was more salty than I like, and the meat was very fatty. I ended up not eating most of it. I’d probably get chicken next time.
The quality of the noodles was great! And I liked the egg in there.
For a fun treat, we bought a box of Pocky. That was probably my favorite part of this dining experience.
Server was quirky in a good way. Food was served hot and quickly. And the interior decor was unique. Prices were fair.
Overall, I’d recommend to someone who really enjoys Japanese ramen. I just prefer different soup styles in general.

If you’re a fan of authentic Japanese ramen, udon, yakisoba, anime, or manga, then you’ve come to the right place. Menkoi is the absolute best and the food is fantastic! I ordered the spicy ramen with extra (yes extra) noodles along with two sides of fried squid tempur and karaage (chicken). The bowl is huge and everything melds so well together and is cooked to perfection. There’s always an episode of anime on the in house tv and there’s a sizable shelf full of all your favorite manga to read while you wait! Every time we come into the area, I’m there! Itadakimasu 🍙🥢🍜

I really wanted to like this place more than I did, but the flavors just weren’t there for me. I ordered six different items as a tasting selection and sadly, none were exceptional. All the items had a very robust fishy taste and smell, except the Karaage. The fishy taste/smell was so off putting that most of the food got boxed up and given away. It was such a disappointment, because looks wise the food was gorgeous! Other pluses include a friendly cashier, quick service, and a clean facility. Prices were really good for downtown Main Street as well. For reference, I ordered items both with and without Nori for tasting diversity. Nori fans will probably love this place.

Absolutely amazing food I started with the onigiri and takoyaki which were delicious then once I got the ramen it looked so good I forgot to get a photo before I started to eat it. The food was also super affordable, I was able to get all this food for around 20 dollars

Easily among my top five ramen places! Keep in mind, I've had ramen in Japan....

In town for the weekend, happened upon this place. Saw their review of 4.7 and it is right on point. I had the spicy Ramen and it was fantastic and absolutely full of flavor. If you are ever close..... go!

Ramen is one of my favorite foods, and even though i can’t say i’ve tried legitimate authentic ramen; i believe this is the closest to it i have had in the upstate. The amount they give you is generous. Always clears my sinuses and makes me feel comfy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is awesome too. They even have a corner with manga to read.
