I love this course. Can play on a late tee time for a decent price. Fairways and bunkers are awesome. The greens themselves roll good and seem to be taken good care of by there staff. Only thing is I wish players would fix there divot marks because there seems to be a lot. Other than that, great course

I’ve played here before and found it to be a very nice course and well maintained. Today I had a 10:30 tee time and the entire front nine is halted because someone is on the green watering with a hose. This went on for nine holes and some on the back nine. On the back nine they are also mowing the fairways as we’re trying to tee off and mowing in areas near the green as we tried to hit approach shots. This is unacceptable. Do your maintenance early in the morning. Pause if maintenance is underway to allow play.

I've been going to Forest Oaks Country Club from my home in Lynchburg, Va since 1984. In fact I didn't miss a single PGA Event played there from 1984 to 1997. I finally had a chance to play the course in 2017. I was fascinated by the fact that I was playing a course that I had followed my heroes around from age 11 to 24. However not impressed with the overall condition.
In the past three years the entire facility has morphed back into and surpassed the unbelievable facility I remember from years past. Unbelievable! It's obvious the owners have put the resources needed into the golf course to bring it back to the championship quality it was and beyond. By far my favorite place in the United States to play golf. Proud to bring my friends with me anytime I come. Staff are wonderful! Thanks Garrett! AMAZING!

Since being purchased last year (2019) by two local businessmen the Forest Oaks country club has seen nothing but constant upgrades and positive changes. Enhancements to the golf course, addling pickle ball courts, major upgrades to the club house and redoing the swimming pool are just a few of the works that have been accomplished with more going on all the time. I have been amazed at how much has been done in such a short time. Much praise to the new owners for a fantastic job in improving the club.

Such a beautiful course and in great condition. Greens are marvelous and the staff is constantly buzzing around involved in continuous improvement. It's great to watch. Driving range is in very good condition along with the tennis and pickleball courts. The clubhouse and the landscaping around it show off the entire club. I've eaten at the Champion's Grill and I've never had a bad experience. Only good. Keep up the great work because it will pay off for the entire Greensboro community.
