I ordered pizza slice to go. Sausage Pepperoni spinach jalapeño and dried tomatoes…every single topping was cold. Minus the pepperoni. So the basically warmed a pepperoni pizza up and then took it out and added the other toppings after. How is that normal? Like the sausage was COLD.
Never going back.

Ive known the original owners of this place for around 24 years or so (they just bought it back). Great people, hard working, and awesome food (great stromboli, and NY style pizza). I quit coming here when they were not the owners. If you came for your 1st time the past couple years, come back now. Higher sanitation grade, cleaner, and awesome food!!!

Love this place! I live in the neighborhood and it is my go to for takeout, dine in, and a slice on the run. Best pizza and wings on a block saturated with dining options and the patio is ideal for a Sunday afternoon beer.

From a born and raised New Yorker, I can attest the pizza does taste like true NY style pizza, from the sauce to the crust and the perfect ratio of cheese, it was good. The mango habanero Wings are good, my only complaint, it seems like the sauce was drizzled on the Wings, because most of the wings were unsauced, it would have been better if the wings were tossed in the sauce because the sauce was really good. The Special steak sandwich is also delicious and perfectly seasoned. Definitely recommend this spot!

Best Pizza bar in town. Sandwiches, salads, pizza, wings, it's all amazing. Add in the best bartenders and solid drink specials. NYP is a total winner.

Was ignored by 3 people before finally getting a "server". She took our drink order and never came back. I watched her eat pizza behind the bar, mix about 4 drinks, break a beer bottle, and stand around talking to her co-workers. When we got up to leave because we never even got our 2 SODAS she finally came over to the table. I was very disappointed because the pizza looked so good and I was starving. Wouldn't recommend unless you're sitting at the bar because those are the only people that got any type of service.

Do you want a great place to get some awesome pizza and to watch some awesome bands perform at the same time? Then this is it! On most nights you can catch some kind of live entertainment across all genres of music from jazz, Electronic jams, house jazz, metal, improve jams, local and national talent, alternative, bluegrass, country/southern rock, and everything else in-between! The owner is an awesome owner/operator and the bartenders are on Point. Anyone who's anyone should get down to Tate St and check out NYP!!!!

The pizza was pretty good and it's a chill vibe. If you're from NY, you might disagree with the name, but overall a positive experience. The food prices are exceptionally good.
