Terrible customer service!! I received an email for my birthday for a free cookie from Subway. A few weeks later I realized it was the last day to redeem it, so I went to this Subway to redeem. First, the employee asked if that day was my birthday and I said no, but the coupon expired that day. He then told me I had to make a purchase in order to redeem the cookie. I told him it did not say that on the coupon. I pulled up the coupon on my phone and showed it to him. He even read the fine print out loud. No where did it say a purchase is required, but he still insisted that I had to make a purchase. If that was the case, what was the point of asking if that day was my birthday? I was confused by that. I can’t believe he would make such a big deal over one cookie, which Subway offered to me for free as a birthday gift.
