Affordable prices and service is good. I ordered oxtail and shrimp curry and it took 40 mins to come out though she said 15, so that was a bit of a drag. The food was tasty but I wish they had more sides. It was either rice & peas or white rice... cabbage or curried potatoes....

Wasn’t planning on eating lunch here but so glad we did. The staff (who I think are also the owners) were really helpful and gave plenty of pointers for how to best enjoy the food (ask for the spicy sauce). Jerk Chicken and goat curry were awesome. We are gonna come back for the fish!

The food here is fantastic. It has been a while since we had food that was really satisfying.
My wife was craving for Dhal Puri, a unique roti made with crushed split peas. The process of making it is quite complicated, and my wife didn't want to attempt it at home. She hadn't eaten it since she left her home country. Today she was finally able to have it, and she loved it! She said the taste was exactly what she expected.
We also ordered chicken curry and shrimp curry. The taste was better than any Indian restaurant we have tried in Greensboro. But be warned, the shrimp curry is quite spicy!
The food was authentic and delicious. If not for the pandemic, we would have dined in this quaint little restaurant.

Good food and service goes a loooong way! I discovered this place via Google and I will never go to another Caribbean location. My husband placed a few orders that were going to take a minute to be freshly prepared. As we were waiting in our car, a gentleman came out and brought me a sample of the mac and cheese!! Being 7 months pregnant I was already hungry and salavating from the photos alone but by the way I was treated and how hot and delicious the Mac and cheese was, they’ve created a loyal customer! Please give this place a try! You won’t be disappointed! ❤️

My family and I enoyed our visit to North Carolina A&T State University however the trip was highlighted by a dropportunity in at the Calypso Mama Caribbean Restaurant. Let me tell you the service was awesome and the food was out of this world. Had the oxtails, rice and peas with cabbage. Took home the Jerk Chicken and Caribbean shimp! Absolutely the best Caribbean shimp recipe anywhere including Jamaica!

Wow! My first time going I decided to order the pepper shrimp it was delicious...the heat was just right! I will definitely be back Thursday to try the red snapper. I only wish it came with two sides instead of one like some plantains or something.

My husband and I decided to get lunch and let me tell you we were both blown away. We both decided to get the curry chicken and peas and rice. While he got cabbage and I got mac as a side. The food is very authentic and AMAZING!! We will definitely be back!!
