This was my 1st time eating here. The experience with the cook cooking right in front of us was nice. The food was fresh and hot. They have great adult beverages at the bar with good prices. My son made reservations and we were on time but we didn't get seated until a half hour later, other than that I would recommend this place to friends and family. Please make a reservation, if you don't the wait can be way longer than expected. They always have a crowd.

What a great experience. The food was delicious, and the cook was very entertaining. We really enjoyed our experience. We did have a wait, but the bar helped us pass the time. Thank you so much!

Resevaration for the weekend is highly recommended!!! I had a reseveration for a party of 8 at 5pm on a Saturday and we were sat within 15 minutes upon arrival.
The dinner size portions were plentiful and good. I enjoyed the preformance by the chef. He was polite and attentive.
I'm giving them 4 stars because the physical appearance needs updating and remodeling. The restaurant is dated.

What can I say bad about this place. The whole experience is what makes it so great. The smell alone will have you ready to eat. The servers are friendly and very attentive. Hey have a drink while you're waiting. They know how to give you an experience for the money spent.

Tonight we went out to celebrate my wife's promotion and chose Arigato.
Great Choice!!!
Tashira was our waitress and she is a great one. Our cups were never empty, our orders were all correct and she was very friendly and attentive to the entire table. She was working hard and it showed!
Stoney was our chef and he did a fantastic job. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The shrimp, vegetables, steak, fried rice.....all were absolutely delicious. And the portions were great too. My wife brought home enough for lunch today lol.
We got steak and shrimp which came with soup, salad, vegetables and fried rice. The cost was reasonable at $21
We will be back.

Arigato is the absolute best Japanese restaurant in Greensboro! The whole experience here is one of a kind, the staff make sure you get your money's worth when visiting, for sure. The chef cooks on front of you, which is pretty much everybody's favourite part about Arigato - it's fun to watch them cook! They also do some pretty cool tricks while you watch. The servers are very professional and never have to be called on. The food is incredible, that's all I can say. The pricing is a bit pricy, but it's definitely worth it. Reservations are definitely recommended if you want to visit, though! This place is very popular in Greensboro and so naturally it gets very very busy on the weekends and other special occasions, so make sure to call ahead to ensure you are guaranteed a table. You won't regret it!

Excellent! They put too much dressing on the salad. Ask for dressing on the side

Decided to have a date night here, we haven’t been out in a while so we were excited. We went without a reservation and was told it would be about 30 mins, but we were called in about 10 mins so that’s a plus on a Friday night. We were seated a couple of seats away from the other couples for social distancing. Food was pretty good and prices were a little cheaper than the other Japanese restaurants but there was a 15% service charge on all orders and the chef didn’t really do many tricks. Most people wasn’t really happy about the 15% service charge and didn’t feel like they had much choice if they wanted to eat there. Also we usually switch out the salad for another soup, but was told we had to pay extra to do that now. The salads were iceberg lettuce which was white and brown with a couple of tomatoes and cucumbers and a terrible glob of nasty ranch dressing.
