I was thankful they force their customers, but not their employees apparently, to wear a mask. Not for covid, but for the filth. 90.5 sanitation rating is generous at best. After being asked if we were ready to order 3 times in 2 minutes, I just ordered to get the obvious drug addict with no motivation for life to leave us alone. The first 3 items I tried to order they did not have. The tea tasted like dishwater. Went in hungry, left hungry and needing a shower. Socially distance yourself away from this failure of a franchise.

I visited here today (4/20/21) to redeem my birthday reward which was a double n cheese plus fries. Today’s my last cheat day before restarting my keto journey lol. I went inside to order. There was only two tables filled. It looked very empty compared to normal. My wait was very minimal. The staff were friendly. After ordering, I got my food in maybe a minute. Definitely quick. My burger and my fries were hot and fresh. I had no complaints during this visit. I was in and out I’m about 5 minutes. If you’re gonna try something, the garlic steak-burger is delicious. I’ll be back here again once I reach my goals :)

This place has once again let me down. Out of the handful of times I’ve come here I’ve only had one interaction that wasn’t complete garbage. One time I sat in the drive-through for over 30 minutes (I just so happen to get there about 30 minutes before they closed). You may think that sounds ridiculous but I did because every passing minute I told myself I was going to be helped shortly. After waiting all that time I was informed they were going to be closing soon so they couldn’t help me. I drove around to the side window and spoke to the person and told her that was dirty and they knew exactly what they were doing by trying to stall so they didn’t have to serve any more customers. I tried once again today and was completely let down yet again. I Will not go into details about what the issue was today, I will save that for an email to corporate. This place is a joke. Blame Covid all you want but find some managers and workers who can make the place better.

The food was good and our waitress was attentive, but the dining area is falling apart. Duct tape on the booths, crust all over the ceiling tiles...just grimey looking everywhere. One waitress sat in a booth with her phone volume on full blast watching something while on break. We watched 8 people leave the drive-thru before we got our food. Used to be great, but unfortunately this place has gone down hill.

Worst service ever! We arrive at the restaurant with it being pretty much empty with exception of maybe 3 people/families. We order our food and had to ask for our drinks to be brought to us. Then we placed a To Go order while we were inside and apparently even if you order a drink with a To Go order you only get a drink when you come through the drive thru! On top of that the waiter never one time, checked on us after our food came. There were around 4 tables that were ready to be cleared off and cleaned not a sole busted the tables till my husband said he left a tip on the table and the waiter cleared our table only.

I was trying to satisfy a craving and left with regret. My fries were warmer than my burger and they were cold, I only had a single when I was to have a double patty and I waited nearly 20min to get it. Spent $8 on this experience, not what I'm used to from steak and shake -_-

I like the 50's vibe , staff was quick n attentive, I had the garlic burger,fries and had made to order soda. sit down experience like no other fast food joint. And I'm from California, in an out don't even got it like that.

Went in with our basketball team after a game server did ok. Upon ordering some milkshakes they tasted awful, was sour. They did take off the ones that were sour. When we were leaving the manager was rude and tried to tell us we still owed $70 worth of food which we did not. He tried to say we didn’t pay for everything and every family had paid. Somehow that total went down to $20 something we did pay that just so we could leave. So no we were not happy with this place and I will not be returning.

My husband and visited the Steak and Shake on Wendover Ave. in Greensboro, NC this evening. Huge disappointment! We were seated and after about ten minutes a server came over to take our order. We waited another 30 minutes, no food and a second server came over to retake our order. The ticket was apparently misplaced in the CHAOS of the server area. The restaurant was not busy, so I don't know what was so chaotic. 15 minutes after placing the second order, we received food, but wait for it, it was wrong! However the food was dropped off, we were hungry so we made due. We were not given silverware (we finally got dollar store quality plastic ware), no ketchup and no napkins. When the second server finally came back to check, we expressed our displeasure. She was obviously having a rough evening. She called the manager over and he offered a very lame apology and tried to comp our meal. I refused to allow this as I ate the food and I was taught to pay for what I eat. The bright star in the train wreak called Steak and shake was the cashier Brandy who offered a genuine apology for the poor behavior of her co workers and once again tried to comp our meal, which I again refused. The manager Austin, server Natasha and who knows what the first server's name is need to be retrained in customer service. They did not deliver the quality your establishment has bragged about since 1934.

We came in on March 12th and a waitress actually insulted my son out loud to another employee. We have had poor service on several occasions lately, which I can let go, but not a direct insult to my child. I have reported the waitress and hope they deal with her. I have never posted a complaint about a business but this blew my mind. We had been loyal customers but not planning on going back if this kind of thing is allowed.

First off the drive thru cashier was rude attitude and all then she rand the order up wrong gave me 3 fries that was very old but the burger was decent it just blew my whole appetite though cause I did spend a soms dollars there for a bad quality could’ve hit up the dollar menu

extremely poor service. ignorant workers. place stunk. took a while to get food. waited a while before anyone ook the drink order. waiter kept forgetting his pen and paper to write the order down. brought us the wrong guest check. wrote up on the order for a drink we didn't get. one guy sitting at another table had to grab the waitresses arm just to get served. another guy had to get up and get the spoon for the milkshake himself. waiter almost never checked on anyone instead was in the back play. the guy act like he was on something.

The Steak n Shake on Wendover in Greensboro NC, the server was horrible, the service took forever bring our drinks, he kept forgetting his pen and pad. Then it took him forever to bring us our food. Brought us the wrong receipt and the shades and window seal needed to be cleaned bad. The manner didn’t say one word to anybody working in there. Worse service ever. It will be awhile before going back. They need to step up there game or there going to lose more business.

The worst customer service ever!! The manager was the rudest manager I have ever encountered. After an employee gave me the wrong information the manager tells me “I have nothing to do with policy it is what it is!” He also told the waiter to take the money out her check to pay me since she gave me the wrong info! I looked at my aunt and told her we should have went to Lawndale! The manager butts in and then says “ And it wouldn’t have been no better!” I was floored! I will never eat here again and I’ll encourage other to not step foot in the establishment.

Food was great service sucked. Had to ask for our salads before we got our burger's. It took at least 30 minutes before we even got the salads my daughters burger was dressed wrong. Tea was not even cold had to ask for ice to go in it. Did not get a tip from me.

My daughter ate here yesterday. The menu says nutritional information available at request. She asked her waitress for this and was told "You'll have to go to the register for that. I don't know anything about that. What do you need it for? Are you dieting? You don't need to lose weight, you're already skinny enough". What the waitress didn't know is my daughter needs to know how many carbohydrates are in everything she eats, so she knows how much insulin to inject before eating. Teach your wait staff to be helpful and courteous, not nosey and judgemental.

Went by for lunch yesterday with my husband. Chris our waiter was great. Brought drink refills without having to ask, very nice. Food was good but have had better burgers.
