I love this place! From the moment you open the door, the aroma is captivating! I never really noticed a major difference in my coffee before. For decades I had taken my coffee with 2 tbs creamer and 2 Equal packets per 10 oz. I have been drinking my coffee black for 7 months. The skies have opened and now I can see why Greencastle Coffee Roasters have a hand written dictionary of beautifully descriptive coffee types lining their counter. It may be a little daunting, but the owners and the people assisting are all well versed in their products. If you don't want to commit to a large quantity, you can always locate a variety from the 5 cup packets lining the walls to trial before a major commitment. There is also a nice selection of tea and some Asian pantry staples in the back. And don't forget the light and dark roasted peanuts in the front. It's a weird Saturday ritual for me to pick some up and have on hand, but they are also so good.

We LOVE this place. As soon as you walk up to the front door you can smell that sweet aroma of coffee bean!!!!!! They are roasted right there and they do an outstanding job. If you get overwhelmed by the menu of flavors, don't worry they also offer most of there coffee ground in 4-cup packs so you can try any and all flavors. All of there beans are whole, but they will grind any of them. Oh, they also have a wide variety of decaffeinated coffees both flavored and unflavored. Dark Roast, Sumatran coffee beans, they also have lighter roasted coffee beans. They also have bulk teas and a small Asian corner for noodles and rice flour and sauces. Also they have some bulk candy. They are local store to help keep the community going always try them first!! I know I'm forgetting something about the store. Oh they have roasted peanuts dark roast light roast they sell those by the pound. And best of all if you don't live in the area you can order online and they do ship their coffee all over the US.
Best coffee that I've ever had. Friendly service, it smells FABULOUS in this shop. They also have a great selection of Asian dry goods for sale in the back.
Great spot to grab a huge variety of coffees. Organic, decaf, flavored, teas. They also have some candies and Asian sampling’s.
Prices on coffee are fair. They sell sample packs which make for great mini gifts for friends and family.
A lot of people know Greencastle Roasters for their coffee, but their tea is most certainly not an oversight. My wife picked up some tea for Christmas presents for me, and while they were out of stock on some teas, the tea I received was excellent quality. The leaves were large and intact and the black current tea actually had dried black currents in it!
Fantastic place. Great selection of coffee, staff is helpful, and nice Asian snacks and ingredients, too! My favorite is the friendship loose tea. My family also loves their roasted peanuts.
My husband is the coffee drinker but this place smells so good inside, I wish I liked coffee! Great selection of sample bags and pods! Friendly.
Heaven on Earth! Right when you open the door, the aroma of fresh ground coffee fills the air. Coffee is my soulmate so this gem of a place is a delight. My boyfriend and I make monthly trips to load up on all our favs.
The coffee is great, but the staff even better. We always look forward to seeing and speaking with them, they are friendly and fun. Best small business around!
