What a wonderful place to get together with good friends! Great atmosphere and Delicious food. I'm a French toast lover. Here it is a nice thick slice with a bit of a crunch but still soft and velvety in the inside. Oh... and on the way out they have a desert case. They had carrots cake. Went home with 2 pieces. What a treat that was.

Western omelet ordered no brown, waitress brought out brown omelette anyways. Asked for no brown again and they brought out runny undercooked eggs. Other food was good. Owner argued when I told her eggs were over then under cooked that we didn't order eggs, we ordered an "omelette". No apologies either. Not sure where her argument was going but we just paid her and left and gave her this great review.

The prices were great and the service was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere. The food did leave something to be desired. Wasn't bad, just wasn't great. If I could talk to the Owner/manager I would suggest to make the menu alot smaller. The menu is huge and with such a variety of food it's extremely difficult for a kitchen to operate effectively. A smaller menu would allow the cooks to create better plates and a better overall experience for the patron. Overall, yes I would recommend this place to a friend if they wanted a budget friendy quick lunch. Wouldn't recommend for someone looking for a sit-down meal with family as a splurge.

Tried to charge me 20% more than the price on the menu. Then tried to make up a reason for overcharging. If that wasn’t bad enough, the food was difficult to eat since it was over cooked and dry. I don’t like being treated like I am trying to rip off the restaurant, when I request to pay the menu price. I will return to the Golden Basket restaurant.
