Stopped here for a quick appetizer and drink later in the evening. Got service at the bar within a few minutes and ordered the wings to go with my drink. Bar tender was friendly and checked up on me throughout my meal to make sure I was doing good. The Decor: Really well designed atmosphere inside
Good beer selection, the Italian wedding soup was great and the burgers are delicious! Cozy spot just off the main drag in Great Barrington.
Went here for the first time in a while. Calamari and wings were very good. Burgers were excellent. Very cheap drinks and friendly service overall. A great burger joint that GB needed. Definitely recommend.
My wife and I had dinner here on a Tuesday night in mid-April 2019. We are senior citizens and tourists, visiting Great Barrington for the first time. The dinner was excellent and we are so glad we chose the Public House. The mussels are outstanding and are served with a thicker-than average sauce
The food is excellent, both in conception and execution. The setting is comfortable, the staff has always been friendly and attentive, and the cocktails have always been spot on. A great spot for a special dinner.
Food was excellent, severs were very friendly and helpful even though they were quite busy. Try the mac n cheese and Brussel sprouts. Best ever! Prices are reasonable. Would be five stars but adjoining pizza place, by same owner, left us standing in the cold waiting for them to open with several ver
Went with a party of eight including two children and everyone loved their food. Pizza, wings, poutine, burgers were all delicious .Good beer selection, and the cocktails looked good as well .Very nice atmosphere and courteous staff. Very pleasant visit .
My wife and I were there and loved this place. Service was great, they were very attentive. The food was great too, one of the best burgers I've ever had, along with a salmon sandwich that my wife got and loved. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
Good, unpretentious pub/bistro atmosphere with good food to match. Excellent selection of beers, many locally brewed. Sound levels not intrusive. Enjoyable. Interesting alley entrance suggests speakeasy history.
The Lamb Burger with grilled onions, tomatoes, lettuce served with a small salad met my expectations of well made cuisine in a pub. The burger was flavorful, the salad was not only fresh but served with a variety of vegetables. Very friendly atmosphere, good service and clean. Would recommend and
Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Had the chicken and waffles an my wife had the mussels. Both were fantastic. Donut bread pudding for dessert. What's not to love?
Pub food, but better. My mom said she had the best French onion soup, and my flank steak sandwich was incredible. The build your own burgers are also great choices! Snag a seat in the window If you like people watching.
Had Dinner w/5 others tonight at 20. From the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees. Everything was applauded. Shared 3 appetizers and 5 different entrees, all a home run! Can't leave out the service which was there when you needed it and not (is everything ok?, when your mouth is full) when you d
Great pizza and salad here and they have a good range of local beers. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Plus they have a fun entrance way lit up with fairy lights!
Great atmosphere, delicious food and good service. I have 1 food allergy and she made sure my food was cooked seperate from anything it would touch. That is far above and beyond what I expected. Thank you for a great experience.
Lobster salad was delicious. Shrimp peel and eat very good as starter. Nice IPA. Positive comments around our table.
