Dead Bear - Grayling - Photo album

Had a flight of their draft beers (5 4 oz pour, price vary in beer), and my usually super critical husband loves them. Food are great too: Got the Reuben Egg Rolls ($11); everyone was suspicious about how this would turn out but everyone loves it. Got the Aporkalypse ($14) and Cuban Sandwich ($13):
Food was amazing, but definitely upgrade to fries as the chips were sort of bland. Drink selection was great and their own brews were tasty. They even have a small arcade area and an arm wrestling table where you can compete with a staff member to win 10% off of in store merchandise
Really enjoyed this experience of an up-north brewery. They have some fantastic selections. The flight was delightful. I really like their sugaa bear and the send it beers! Sweet potato fries were a fantastic. They have an arcade with old school games if you'd like some nostalgia, or if you have ki
Showed up with a moderately large party. Took a bit to be seated but nothing crazy. Then waited an hour to get our food. We watched multiple tables come eat and leave before we even received our food. Food was good though. Really good fries.
Great service! Fun decor. Party of 9 and we were served quick. Burgers was juicy and housemade chips were excellent. Cuban was flavorful and pickles were the star.
Dining at the Dead Bear. We ate supper here twice while visiting the area (Reuben Egg Rolls, Battered Cod, Cuban Sandwich, Beef Burgers and sides of Onion Rings and Sweet Potatoes). Service was fast and friendly. Food was good. Beer was EXCELLENT! Background music was not too loud and was not Countr
Interior is amazing. "Outdoor" dining area is comfy and warm with garage doors propped 1/3 open to provide multiple air changes. Our meal consisted of Fried pickle appetizer ( meal by itself) Reuben and crispy chicken sandwich. The Reuben was stacked well and the side of onion rings was more than I
Cool place! Good beer selection, they also carry beers from other MI breweries and yes, they have bud light even. We only got fries but they were tasty and staff were friendly. Lots of space and I believe we even saw people playing corn hole?
Update: they were open on the day of super bowl. Food and drinks were just as awesome as before. However, the brisket sandwich needed a little more sauce. Not a lot of choice on beers. Food was great, staff was friendly. If you’re a person of color people will stare at you here.
We had a lot of fun there. Good beer, and excellent service. It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere. Too bad the Lions decided to roll over on their back, lol.
A great place to stop to get a bite to eat and a nice cold glass of craft beer. Conveniently located off of the interstate business loop I-75 next to the Days Inn Hotel. The menu is simple but there is plenty of food choices to choose from. They do have an outside covered patio for the summer days
Juicy burger, perfectly cooked fries, some reuben eggrolls that were insanely tasty. Got a flight of beer, every single one was a winner, and they're not afraid to get weird with their flavors. Thats hard to find. The service was the perfect balance of attentive but not annoying. The prices were hig
Nice brewery with several own and guest brews. We had two different kinds of Porters, a vanilla and a bacon one; both of which were great. We also ordered a sandwich which was very tasty and nicely presented. Furthermore they have cool decoration, very cabin looking with bear skins and game trophies
The decor leaves a little to be desired; it has hints of the log cabin feel but not well done. However, they have great brewed beers, a great menu selection and delicious food. The staff was friendly, and the brewmaster was true to the trade with a full beard 😁. We had a good time.
