Texan Station

Bar food, through and through…I sat at the bar, as I was having lunch on my own. The bartender (David,) was ok. He offered suggestions, and was friendly enough, but honestly, he was more concerned with flirting and talking with the other staff members, than he was attending to his guests. I would probably only go there again, if I were going with friends to watch a major sporting event, as the MASSIVE amount of televisions was awe-inspiring.

Me and my business partners ate here twice over our 4 day stay. Had the same waitress both times. She was pretty friendly. The first day, the wings were decent. Definitely NOT worth the price. Wings, fries and one drink was about $45 bucks. The next night I had the ribs and pickled veggies with a side of mashed potatoes and a Hawaiian roll. The food was cold. Idk why they left the huge bone on the plate...maybe and accent piece?? And they were out of rolls, so they gave me a cut up hot dog bun. A plain one, not even the Hawaiian style kind. And the $15 drink was watered down. I'm a light weight. A wine cooler has me looking crazy. Definitely not worth the price. Highly disappointed.

Texan Station is in the Gaylord Texan. The food was delicious. We started with the Chips that came with Salsa, Guacamole, and Queso. For dinner I had the Fish Tacos. They were incredible! Texan Station is also a great sports bar... lots of TVs on the wall with every sport imaginable. The service is friendly and fast. If you ever stay at the Gaylord Texan, I would recommend eating here.

Not good. Food was cold. Fries were soggy. Kids spaghetti was soupy. For the price… should get ZERO stars. Disappointed that the is place i associated with the Marriott name. Don’t be fooled by the pics - subpar dining across the board. Also, paper straws. Update:My kid had the burger there, only thing he ate all day… few hours later was throwing up.

The food was delicious, the portions were great, and the dessert was delightful. We tried the Texan Nachos (combo pork and chicken), the Kids Menu Grilled Chicken Tenders, and the Beyond Yo Wildest Dreams Burger (plant based veggie patty) for lunch, and had the Makers Me Crazy dessert. All was shared except for the kids meal, which my 10 year old son barely managed to finish all of. Meat was plentiful, flavorful and juicy on the nachos, and there was a good amount of cheese sauce, too. Veggie burger was a large patty, the same size as a regular large beef patty burger would be(gushing 1/3 to 1/2lb patty), had great flavor and came with a ton of fries (we couldn't finish them all). The dessert was delectable, with a nice combination of rich and fluffy decadence, and a hint of the Makers Mark throughout. Definitely recommend this place for a meal if your in the area for any reason!

Food was extremely pricey, but what you'd expect for a large hotel such as this one. The staff was extremely busy but they still made room for us, even though it took a while. The portion sizes were massive so it was definitely worth the money spent, and the wings and mac and cheese were some of the best I've had in a while. Decent service, large price, but AWESOME food.
