Hop And Sting Brewing Company

Our family loves finding family friendly breweries, restaurants, etc. We were excited to find Hop and Sting and enjoyed our time here. We arrived around 5:45 on a Saturday and were able easily find a seat outside. The outdoor area is nice even when it’s a bit hot out because it’s pretty shaded with trees and lots of umbrellas. Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of seating inside so we’re glad it’s shaded but we were unsure if the office area that is in a separate building is also used for seating… the door was open to this building and there were tables but that was a little unclear to us. We absolutely loved the beer selection. The first Saturday we went there were (2) different live musicians. The second musician a reggae performer was awesome! He was interactive with the crowd and at one point had all the kids performing with him. While the food trucks all have great service.. very friendly folks! There’s not enough variety especially for families … both trucks (diff times of the day) on the first Saturday and 1 on the second were all BBQ and not kid friendly. These would be our one request is more variety and options for kids!

Great selection of high quality beers and a large beer garden with lots of space. Service was very good. We had two taster racks and a couple pints, everything was great! Our favorites were Red Velvet Cookie ale and Hop to be Square NE IPA. This was great place try with our long layover at DFW. It's close to the airport, so if you have time to kill in between flights check it out.

Staff was friendly and beers were good. Service I would say was attentive. Oktoberfest was the best beer I tried. I like the layout of the place. Cool patio and indoors had an upstairs. A couple TVs available. Beers were decent, though I admit I wasn’t blown away by any. But at the prices I think it was totally worth it. I’d happily go back and try some more though I won’t prioritize this spot over others in the area.

Great people running this brewery. Wonderful patio area, diversified events, and free parking. The miracle is one of my favorite beers. I do believe there is a bit of a disparity in pricing however. Buying their beer by the cans and growlers are at a good price point. If you’re there to enjoy a brew (or a few) however, it can’t get expensive considering you are at the source of origin.
