We went a few days ago and it's was super delicious and the owners/workers were very welcoming and answered any questions we had. My boys now have an uncle tommy haha. I had the plate with 4 different tamales(each very good and filling) my honey had the Frito bowl and couldn't even finish it� and my boys had the quesadilla which for a 3 and an 8 yr old and them both being picky they both ate it!! Over all we can not wait to go back and have already recommended tommys to family members and friends!!
This place was incredible! So sick of chains and over priced plates at mediocre mom and pop places.

Was referred by a friend, owners greeted me and were on point with customer interaction and service. Food was awesome. Will be back anytime I’m in the area. I used to own a pub and grill and I know when owners are putting I the work and effort to make their place successful. Job well done!
Some of the best Tamales we have ever had. When in DFW metroplex Go to Tommy Tamale in Grapevine you won't be sorry. Went there for first time today before going home to Oklahoma. Talked to Mrs.Tommy and the whole staff were very helpful. Thursday March 22 2018 We will be back!

My family visited after seeing a post on facebook. So glad we did. The tamales were flippin delicious. The meat to masa ratio was on point and the staff was awesome. We ended up purchasing 12 dozen tamales for our family Christmas dinner and will do it again next year. Icing on the cake...They offered my dad (30 years of service in the Army) a military discount, thanked him for his service and shook his hand �

I stopped in for a little lunch and, there's no such thing! A tommy bowl, a grilled pork burrito, a dozen Tamales and two bags of chips are more than I needed, but you just can't help yourself. I tell everyone to go here and I have yet to have one person give negative feedback. AND, I got to meet Tommy himself! Great food! You now have a forever customer!

In search of good tamales and saw the reviews for this place so decided to give it a try. So glad we did! We had the tamale plate and tried the pork and chicken and it was delicious. They had 3 different beans to choose from and the refried was definitely the best. Owner is very personable and came to check on us. He works the floor and ensures each guest feels welcome. You can even buy frozen tamales to take home. Definitely recommend this place to try as they have several locations.
Hands down best tamales i ever had. Especially habanero pork tamale. It was perfectly seasoned. I got the tamale pie and hubby got the bowl. We both weren’t able to finish it so had to pack the leftovers. Will definitely be coming back.
O M G. This was worth the wait. A friend recommended it. Met Tommy he is soooo nice. Felt like home. I got the 2 pork tamale (two was filling for me with the sides) and my husband got 2 pork and 2 beef, it was delicious. Definitely will return!
Great food, awesome staff members that always seem happy to be there. We don’t find the price to be expensive; I’m able to get two meals out of a $9 tamale pie. Good place for Tex-Mex and everything we’ve tried so far has been seasoned well. I think it’s great how well Tommy handles criticism, and how open he is to suggestions. His replies are professional and truthful. I LOVE seeing owners respond to comments, I just think it’s nice to communicate with customers even if it’s just a quick “we appreciate you coming in”.
The Ladies and I were in town today hanging out on our way to the Lake saw a cool place named after my husband Tommy and I jokingly said let’s stop in to surprise him. I jumped out went inside and felt the nice vibes, loved the fresh colors, people were very nice and polite got my order quickly as well and I was on my way. We begin eating the Tamales oh my goodness … DELICIOUS!! I purchased different flavors the chicken beef pork and we were so full. I highly recommend this place to all you won’t regret it!!

We walked in, were greeted, and they walked us through the menu. We ordered the tamale plate. Chicken and pork habanero. It came with sides of Spanish rice and charro beans. Of course, we also ordered the Frito pie with a hatch Chile pork tamale.
Everything was amazing... All of it.
This place is seriously delicious the owner even came by the table thanked us for coming in and brought us hot sauce to try.

Saw a YouTube channel I watch go here and loved it.Went a few days back with the kiddos to try something new, and was pleasantly surprised. The tamales were great and the sides are good as well. Beans were runny but good flavors. Took home some frozen black bean with cheese and chicken and they were great for frozen! Would recomend this restaurant to anyone who loves tamales.
