We’ve been coming here for a little over a year now. Morning Ritual adds so much to the neighbourhood. My favourite aspect is how creative and out of the box they are with their flavours. I love adding their herb syrups to my drinks! They also carry Field and Fire pastries - which are always amazing. The bathroom here is always very clean and they have a really great study area upstairs!

Oh my goodness, I can't say enough good things about Morning Ritual Cafe in Grand Rapids!
First off, can we just talk about how amazing it is that they have their own parking lot? This is such a rarity in this day and age, and it makes popping in for a quick cup of joe or a full brunch experience so much more convenient.
Speaking of the space, it is just darling. It's cute, cozy, and the perfect spot to gather with friends or simply bask in the ambiance while sipping on a latte. The vibe is welcoming and relaxed, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
And let's talk about the coffee - oh my goodness! The coffee is so delicious and flavorful. Plus, they are always coming up with new specials and caffeinated creations that are to die for.
But what really sets Morning Ritual apart is their commitment to supporting the local community. They host so many fun shop pop-ups that allow local artisans and small business owners to showcase their amazing creations. It's wonderful to see a business that truly cares about its community and takes an active role in promoting local talent.
Overall, I can't recommend Morning Ritual Cafe enough. The parking lot, the cute space, the tasty coffee, and the community involvement all make for an absolutely delightful experience!
I liked this coffee shop. It was very busy. The employees were nice. The strawberry matcha latte was good.
Such a cute, eclectic space! Great energy from staff, loved what the menu offered. I had a muddled mint iced coffee drink. It was very tasty! The upstairs is crazy cool, super huge space, would be a great spot to work on something in peace!
Great coffee! I was basic and got a seasonal drink but it was really good! I liked that they had a printer there - had to print out some luggage tags and had been putting it off.
Such a cozy shop! Great drinks (personal favorite is the iced black tea). Love their large upstairs room for meetings or quiet work time.

I love how they have an upstair area where you can do work on your laptop, study, or have group meetings. It's a cool place to kick it with and soak up the vibes with positive people. Highly recommend!

I believe the coffee is really good. So much care is put into each drink. The owner and workers are kind and show their customers so much love. The owner greatly supports the Grand Rapids artist community, and offers many opportunities to those who want to vend with them.
The atmosphere is wonderful. There is an upstairs seating area as well if the downstairs is a bit too crowded, and now there’s a vintage store upstairs.
I live closer to other coffee shops, but I purposefully drive out of my way to grab a drink from them.
There is constantly new drinks, some more experimental than others. If you don’t like a drink, just communicate with the baristas. I’m sure they can help you find what flavor profile you’re looking for. If you want to try specialty coffee, cough ok Nathan whatever, this the place.
Morning Ritual is easily my favorite coffee shop in Grand Rapids! The owner, Alyx, is extremely friendly and generous towards the community. They host events to support local artists and vendors alllll the time.
Food: One of the things that brought me to try this place was the specialty craft drinks. Each season they come up with a creative menu that covers all the bases. Their pastry selection accommodates those with dietary restrictions as well.
Service: Not just the owner, but the whole team is super kind and patient. They're able to answer any question you have (and also always playing a good radio station.)
Atmosphere: The upstairs is more quaint if you have work to get done AND it’s now also little shopfront for a vintage pop-up! Every time a friend is in town visiting, I bring them here. Morning Ritual is a welcoming and safe space for all people.
Morning Ritual is coffee shop goals. Alyx the owner is incredibly gifted at curating a space for community, all good people, and great coffee. They nail it w/ their seasonal drinks & events as well. I wish i lived closer but I make sure that everyone in my life knows to visit when they’re in town, and they’re ALWAYS my go-to. Inclusive and super cool inside. YUM.

Came to the coffee shop because we stopped at the art pop up in their parking lot! Our Rose drink was delicious! Our tropical and chocolate cakes were so yummy! It was pretty busy due to the market, but well worth the short wait! I live close by and will be stopping often! Service was very good!
Delicious and lovely! Had an Ube Matcha and a London Nights, which is an iced London fog with lavender cold foam and edible glitter stars! Both were a feast for the eyes and the taste buds 😍 highly recommend

One of my top shops to visit when I’m in Grand Rapids. I have not had one bad visit and the staff is always sweet and knowledgeable. Please for the love of life, visit Morning Ritual :)
I've lived in GR for going on 6 years now and I've done a fair amount of exploring local coffee shops and restaurants. I just moved into the Roosevelt Park neighborhood and wanted to grab a cup of coffee with my girlfriend. We decided to try someplace neither of us had been before and just happened to stumble upon Morning Ritual. We were pleasantly surprised by the homey/minimal decor and delicious floral themed beverage options! I had an iced moon tea latte with oatmilk and my girlfriend had an iced mocha. We both very much enjoyed our experience and will be returning soon!
Genuinely good coffee, and the interior of the shop is very cozy. Would come here more often, but there is a severe lack of bike parking around the entire intersection of 4th and Stocking.
This place is a nice and comfortable coffee place. It is a great place to go to do homework or work on a laptop since they have tons of work space especially upstairs. The coffee is super good as well!

Great atmosphere and location with ample parking. Super excited to see a cafe in GR serving Intelligentsia! My cortado was served thoughtfully with some dark chocolate and seltzer water, but the drink itself was a bit lacking. Service was friendly and fast and they had my favorite scones from Wealthy/Hall St. Bakeries! Great vegan and GF options as well. Here's the reasons I couldn't give 5 stars: for the comparatively high price I paid for my drink ($3.75), the quality I expected wasn't there. The milk foam on top wasn't consistent in texture (see pics) and the espresso was kind of one-note and watery as opposed to the robust flavor and creamy texture I expect from Italian espresso. A couple drinks intrigue me enough to want to come back (the Fustini's Shrubs and some turmeric drinks), but this isn't somewhere I would go for an espresso seeing as there's so many other places in GR that do espresso better for less. I'd recommend this place more for the atmosphere (great for meetings, studying, dates) and non-coffee offerings. Hopefully the espresso will improve over time seeing as this place is fairly new.
