This is by far the best Chinese food I've had in years! All the ingredients are fresh and the flavor is perfection! The food comes out piping hot and is absolutely delicious!! I'm really sad that the owner spends her days here alone, I really don't want this gem of an eatery to disappear and close.
This restaurant has quick service, is well priced, and is consistently delicious. The owners are friendly. The indoor dinning area is very small. I have only ever gotten take out from Foo Yen. I have had there food many times and have never had a bad experience.
The owner is the absolute nicest woman and she truly cares about her local community and especially the schools around her. The food is awesome and the price is absolutely amazing. Support Foo Yen!!
Great place for consistent, delicious food. I go after class and usually it’s busy, but my order always comes out on time, and hot. Would recommend.
Hands down our favorite Chinese restaurant in Grand Rapids. Not positive why foo yen doesn’t have a 5 star rating. Each time we go, it seems to always get better! Super nice people and amazing food! Highly recommed.
Their egg rolls and sweet/sour sauce are the best in town - I buy a dozen at a time and they are gone within hours due to our three ravenous teenagers. Also, the owner is great, she remembers me every time I stop in.
Stephanie makes all her food and sauces from scratch. They are so good. It is just a small restaurant but we'll worth getting Chinese food from there. Take out as well!
Ive been going here for 15 years. There is great food, good service. And i have never had any problems with bugs!!!! I highly recommend the sesame chicken and crab rengoon ❤.
A great place for in and out Chinese food. The menu is fairly large and reasonably priced. My order cost about $12 and took about 5 minutes. The portions are large enough for leftovers.
Amazing owner. So friendly — one of the best places in town. Food is amazing and I feel so welcomed whenever I walk in!
I actually haven't been here in years but from what I can remember, the food was good & the prices were decent. It's quite a ways away from my house & I don't have a car so like I said, I haven't been in a while but I would definitely recommend.
