Phenomenal pizza made the way it’s supposed to be with fresh ingredients. This neighborhood staple has been around since the early 70s says the owner. Great spot. As newly residents to the neighborhood we couldn’t be happier to have this gem nearby.

I don't know how long they've been there, but Mineo's looks like it's been in business for a long time. The interior doesn't look like it's been updated in a while. That's fine though, because it's a carryout pizza place. You can tell they take care of it, as the place is super clean! Call to place your order and they answer the phone in a quick and direct manner. They're not rude. They just want to take your oder and get back to making pizza pies! I grew up in Chicagoland so I know what good pizza is. Unfortunately, I haven't found a lot of good pizza places in Grand Rapids. Mineo's on the other hand, actually has some pretty good pizza. They're generous with the toppings and the pizza has a nice thickness to it, without being too thick. I would ask them to make it well done. Without this, the crust seems to be under done. Make sure you get the cheesy breadsticks too. You won't regret it!

Very nice group of people inside, I always get the subs & they are still warm after my 20+ minute walk home. Philly sub is awesome, meaty, cheesy, yummy . My bf likes the Italian.
The pizza is great, the cheese covered bread sticks are delicious! My son would rather get the bread sticks then the pizza most the time.
Never really had a complaint, they forgot the lettuce once on my sub but that's not a big deal..

I’ve been eating here since I was lil. I’m now 43 and the food is till 🔥.. I lived in Az for the past 15 yrs and currently here visiting. Soon as I got here ordered me a sub. Never disappoints.

I’ve been coming here since I was old enough to count change and ride a bike. This place has the best pizza subs I have ever had in my life. I’ve been around the whole country and have yet to find a place that makes pizza subs as good as these. My brothers and I used to scrounge around for quarters and bike down here whenever we could, as kids. Ham, bacon, pepperoni pizza sub is my normal order.

Amazing pizza! They lay on the cheese very well and the sauce has a great flavorful taste to it as well! The crust had a nice crisp bite to it with a tasty parmesan butter flavor to it! The cheese breadsticks are also a favorite with plenty of cheeseness to it! Much better than the chain places!

Grand Rapids' Legendary Pizza Joint. Do yourself a favor. Go home after work, clean up the house and down a few cold ones. Then you call Mineo's and place your order. Go just a bit early so you can hang out and smell the deliciousness of the place. And just when you think nothing could be better than the smell? You walk out with some of the best pizza, subs or dinners in town. No joke. Mineo's is like a piece of NY right here in GR.
