The best of the best! We had the pleasure of working with Kangaroo Kitchen for over 2 years because we delayed our wedding due to the pandemic. They were kind, communicative, and supportive throughout the whole process. Chef Roman made the tasting process so fun and special, and they have so much experience that they helped with much of the planning and logistics. All of their food was so interesting, exciting, beautiful, and delicious! So many little touches too, like packing up some food at the end of the night to making sure the bride and groom had a plate of appetizers when we sat down for our meal. We were so well taken care of and couldn’t recommend Kangaroo Kitchen more!

Chef Roman and his team did an incredible job catering our wedding. Due to my inflexible work schedule, we were unable to do a tasting. We ordered what we thought looked best on the menu, and every single item was amazing. I'd never had wedding food that was particularly exciting, but Kangaroo Kitchen manages to make even high volumes of food flavorful and memorable. The staff that worked our wedding were very kind and attentive. I'd highly recommend this team!

Kangaroo Kitchen did a FABULOUS job with our wedding at the Cheney Place. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff is very knowledgeable about allergens, which coming from a food & beverage background, was very important to me. We received compliments all night long and after the wedding. We had around 175 guests, and with two buffet lines, all guests were fed within 20 minutes which was amazing.
Logistically, the team was easy to work with, and all fees were well laid out within the estimate and final bill, and nothing was hidden. I'd highly recommend Kangaroo Kitchen for any event!

Ashley and Roman were both phenomenal to work with throughout the Kangaroo Catering process. They made wonderful sample dishes and made us confident in our choices for our dishes. The appetizers were incredible. Their staff was so helpful and professional on the day of the event. The dinner turned out excellent. People had enough food to eat to dance all night! The food turned out lovely and people really enjoyed the meal. The food also came out promptly for a plated meal and the staff seemed very organized. Their communication was thorough and thoughtful. This is by far the best catering service we have ever had! We booked them for our wedding this summer. They were so easy and accommodating to work with. Their food choices were great and their prices were even better. The day of our wedding people nonstop had nothing but praise for how the service was and the quality and quantity of food. We have already recommended them to other friends getting married and hope to enjoy their food again sometime soon. If only they did take-out!

We were married on 10/21/17 and Kangaroo Kitchen catered our event. Chef Roman was efficient, kind, flexible, professional, and responsive throughout our whole planning process, and on the day of the event his staff maintained that extremely high caliber of service and experience.
The staff came early, set up their stations, plated the buffets beautifully, took extra care of our grandmas, made a special appetizers plate for the groom and I (they were right, we never even saw the ones being passed, we were so busy!). The quality of the food was incredible and they boxed up the leftovers! Scotty and I were eating incredible healthy food for a week! Perfection!
So many of our guests commented on the quality of the food, the healthy options/spins on comfort classics, and their overall excellent impression of our food. Thank you SO MUCH Kangaroo Kitchen- you are wonderful!

Chef Roman & Team catered the most amazing meal for our wedding this summer. The service was excellent. The charcuterie and desserts were plated beautifully, but even more tasted amazing! So many people reached out to me afterwards to comment how it set the bar for wedding food, because it was presented so beautifully, so unique, and tasted delicious! Favorite caterer in GR. Hands down. I’ve used Kangaroo multiple times over the years. So when it was time to choose a caterer for my wedding, I was confident they could knock it out of the park. And they did! The food was amazing, Romen, the owner, made helpful suggestions on the menu and helped craft my “stations” idea. The number one thing guests commented on was the food. They accommodated our guests that were vegetarian and had celiac. Samantha even remembered I didn’t like cilantro and had the chefs leave it out of certain dishes.
The staff really went above and beyond. When the rental company showed up over an hour late, they pitched in to set up tables, chairs, linens, and place decorations. You can trust them with your event.

WOW!!! If you want amazing food and staff these are the people for you! They were so accommodating, their communication was impeccable, and their food is delicious! We had salmon and chicken that was not dry. A unique salad compared to just a garden salad that you typically see at weddings. My husband and I cannot get over their service. They checked in on us multiple times throughout the evening making sure everything was great and made sure our special accommodations for those with allergies was met. One thing that stood out to me was they created a small plate with all of our appetizers and brought it to my husband and I to make sure we got one of each of our appetizers. So often I hear brides and/or grooms say “I didn’t even get any of our appetizers.” HIGHLY recommend!

Best catering company by far!! We used Kangaroo for our wedding and they were truly incredible from start to finish. First of all, the food was absolutely delicious, we are still getting compliments daily on how good everything was! Their staff was amazing to work with, they were great at communicating, the tasting prior to our wedding was so much fun and very informative and of course the day of the staff and food was amazing. I really appreciated Ashley staying in touch with us the week leading up to make sure all of our questions were answered, during the whole process she handled all of our questions and requests so efficiently.

Honestly, it’s hard to imagine better catered food. We were receiving compliments on the food up to three months after the wedding! The dishes were thoughtfully constructed and prepared to perfection. Whether the hors d'oeuvres, salad (the freekeh & sweet potato salad was phenomenal), or main dishes, everything was exquisite. We also had quite a few guests with dietary restrictions, and the team cared for each of them. Given our wedding was in February, we wanted to add a hot cocoa bar, and Kangaroo Kitchen delivered.
And as an added bonus, Roman (the owner and chef) is absolutely wonderful to work with. Our flight into town for our initial tasting was canceled, and he was easily able to accommodate us. Additionally, during the reception he came out to say congratulations and also chat with our parents (which they loved)!

I wanted to reach out and let you know that Kangaroo Kitchen and staff did an excellent job at our Wedding at the Rutledge. So many guests made a point to let me know how outstanding the food was, some even said it was the best beef tenderloin they ever had. A special thanks to the Chef for making a tomato soup for one of our guests - it was a huge hit and she absolutely loved it.

We used Kangaroo Kitchen for my daughter's wedding and heard over and over from guests that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The staff was wonderful to work with, thinking through all the details (including accommodating our special request for plant based options), they worked closely with our venue (New Vintage Place) and the serving staff was great! We had a little glitch at the end of the evening, where the staff didn't leave us the leftover food off the buffet table, and Chef Roman graciously made good on that by offering a partial refund or providing a meal for our family which we loved! We highly recommend Kangaroo Kitchen!

I can not recommend Kangaroo Kitchen enough! When beginning to plan my wedding I was drawn to their amazing menu and could not be more impressed with all the great choices we had to pick from. Roman and Ashley were very helpful and professional during the entire planning process and gave us two opportunities to do a tasting to help us pick our favorite menu. The food was delicious and the wait staff made sure that the wedding party and guests were taken care of throughout the night. I highly recommend Kangaroo Kitchen for your future catering needs. I know we will be using them again for any upcoming events!
