Really good Italian beef sandwiches. We got talked into getting the smoked salmon jerky. It was mouth watering. Fun little spot friendly staff and a huge selection of high end meats and seafoods. I will definitely go back if I am in town again.
My favorite is the Dry Age Bacon Burger (pictured). The blue cheese really makes it great! Also love their many meat options in the freezer, specifically their house chorizo.

I got the steak sandwich, and it was divine! The Kobe beef was tender and juicy and paired perfectly with the mushroom+onions, provolone, and horsey sauce. The fries were delicious as well. They were seasoned well and stayed crispy to the the last one! This meal was definitely worth its price.

One of the many great spots in the Downtown Market. As a meat counter they really have some amazing cuts of local raised meat. They also have a great menu of fantastic sandwiches and dogs. I tried the Kobe Beef dogs and they may have been the best dog I've ever had. I only left one star off because
Steak sandwich is great, but the portion size is a lot smaller than what it used to be, yet the price is the same or higher. Hence the 4 stars
Carvers is outstanding. The cheeseburger, hot chicken sandwich, and fries were absolutely delicious. The portions and quality are well worth the money.

Fabulous food! The Santa Fe beef soup was so tender, the cheeseburger held up to the description of "best burger you'll ever have", and the Kobe beef tacos equally amazing! To top it all off, our server Dan was efficient, attentive and quite charming. Great job!

I ordered the Philly, which was made with quality ingredients like Kobe beef. Price was a tad high (due to the location) but quality , quantity , and taste more than made up for it. I would visit here again to try out the rest of the menu
DELICIOUS sandwiches. Can’t go wrong with the sandwich menu. Also the fries are to die for. It is about a 10-15 min wait (a little slow but worth it) and not cheap for a sandwich place, but excellent quality and I’d definitely recommend. Staff was very nice here too.
Located in the Downtown market. Fresh meats and poultry. Used to be a butcher shop only, but now they offer sandwiches and you can pick meats and have them cooked there.
Good food! I've been there twice now with the same results: a quality sandwich made to order within 10 - 15 minutes. I tried the Italian Beef and today had the Reuben, and I must say, they were very good sandwiches: meaty, robust, fresh ingredients, and delicious! The service was fast and friendly.
Both the Cheeseburger and Hot Chick, were outstanding! I usually don't care for plain fries, but these were delicious. Fresh, simple, great quality, fair priced and a great atmosphere in the market. Can't wait to go back!

Really great selection of meats. Some of the best cuts and helpful service I've found in grand rapids. Their sides go along great with any meal. The ground beef makes my hamburgers taste amazing. The food options that they make are also great. Go support this high quality butcher!
