Loved my visit, I was only drive thru but, service was fast and when ya look in the kitchen you can see they have quite a good set up for getting orders out fast. Also want to applaud the girl who took my order, she was fast, and a multitasking queen and did everything with ease!!
Food was pretty good, the steakhouse burger I had was really good but comparable to Culver's, the shake I had was really good however, nice and thick. BBQ sauce was definitely some of the best sauce I've had in a long time. Id go back for a quick snack

The food is made to order. Fresh doesn't even cover it. It was easily the best fast food I've ever had. Try the Cali burger (if you like 1000island). The cheese curds rival that of Culver's. You absoluetly need to try this food! On top of the amazing food, the staff was friendly and helpful! Great customer service. 10/10 would recommend and return!

A bit pricey, but worth every penny. Any time I am in gr I try to stop if they are open. I’ve had an issue a couple times (as will happen at any restaurant or place in general) but each time it’s been taken care of and made right. The burgers are absolutely wonderful (the Philly was as well, but I only saw that once :/) and the cheese curds are the best I’ve ever had, the staff is always friendly and very helpful. 10/10

This place always has smiling faces, fresh & hot food, and it’s one of the cleanest places I’ve ever eaten at as far as fast food goes. Their menu is always on point with new burgers to try!! 10/10 would recommend.

Store is very clean, bright and well ventilated.staff was friendly and helpful. Even though there weren't many people working, our food came up fast, and was really good. Great fast food place to add to the rotation!

Some of the best burgers around. They cook'em like they used when I was growing up. Great comfort food with generous portions, awesome shakes, and you will never be dissatisfied with Freddy's Sauce. Definitely hit one up of you have the chance, they are simply amazing!

Freddy’s Frozen Custards and Steakburgers is a retro fast food restaurant in Grand Rapids. It's nicely designed and offers an old fashioned Menu of different items. The service was very friendly - also yay for wearing a mask. All of the food is prepared after order, so you get a number and can take a seat. When it's ready, you will be called. I got the Original Patty Melt, a bowl of Chili and a Hotdog. The food was hot, fresh and well spiced. The Fries are outstanding. Only minor disappointment is that the ketchup, mustard and relish for the hot dog is all in single use plastic. There should be a condiment pump station to reduce plastic waste.
But overall: nice fast food restaurant, especially for the travelers on the search for retro food.

Went to two Freddy's on Saturday. First one had nobody at it, which kinda tells you something.
This one however had a few people inside when we arrived. After we sat down however, more people kept coming in.
The food was really good. I had the chicken tenders and a large cheese fries. Then for dessert I had a chocolate shake.
Overall, this Freddy's location is one of the best, if not the best.
