Great options for those needing gluten free! My celiac teen enjoyed having a flurry with yummy, safe mix-ins from Kind Crumbs.

This has to be the best ice cream shop in town. So knowledgeable about any sport of allergens. They have dairy free ice cream that is delicious. They have all sorts of gluten-free options. This place is amazing!!!

Absolute BEST place in GR for vegan and gf icecream treats! I have a dairy allergy and love that I have such a selection of treats to choose from. Even better selection if you don't have allergies at all! They do a great job at handling allergies and have separate areas and equipment to handle them. Be prepared for long lines on nice days and later at night but it's so worth it.

Long lines, but they moved relatively fast. The parking lot is tight, but the 'local blizzard' we got for our son was worth it. The treat was great and I don't regret the wait

Frosty boy never disappoints. Staff is always so friendly, and just the best cones & flurries around town. Highly recommend the lemon-vanilla soft serve. Weird as it is ..what I do not recommend are their spoons (lol). A few weeks ago my partner got a flurry and complained the spoons cut his lips. I laughed it off and did not believe him that a spoon could cut lips.. because it’s a spoon. But tonight I got myself a flurry same thing happened to me! Both corners of my lips are raw and stinging. Hopefully they upgrade to some better spoons or I’ll have to bring my own 🙃

Heard about this allergy-friendly spot for my family and we just had to give it a try, even on a chilly day! Our kid has a peanut allergy and even though they have nuts on the menu, they took extra precaution in serving his vegan soft-serve safely. I also have a dairy-intolerance and happily enjoyed their vegan Oreo blizzard (without a stomach ache)! I honestly had a hard time choosing from all of the different options they have available and already cannot wait to make another trip back to try something new! This will definitely be our go-to ice cream shop from now on!

Frosty Boy had some of the best flurries I've ever had, especially the Allergen! My wife is vegan and it's certainly the best vegan ice cream in Grand Rapids. It's pricey but worth it for a special treat ($15 for two medium flurries for my wife and I last time)

Fun summer evening destination in GR. Very popular so typically a 15-20 wait time but ice cream is well worth it!

Whatever you want that is remotely related to ice cream, they have it. I love their specialty flurries. Don’t be shy making it your own and adding something else to it.

THIS is the shining example of how to make an ice cream spot that is accessible to people with dietary restrictions! Every ice cream place in the country would be smart to follow their example, and it's crazy how few have at this point. I was stoked to see so many options for dairy free ice cream that wasn't just an obligatory, sad single flavor of whatever Dole Whip is. It felt great to have several options that I could actually eat, so much so that I was bummed I couldn't order them all at once. If I lived in GR I’d be at Frosty Boy weekly.

As a vegan, finding good ice cream shops with multiple options is often a challenge. Frosty Boy has so many gf and diary free options. Their menu is clear and easy to read as you consider any dietary needs. I’d recommend getting a punch card as well.
