Came in tonight after the gymnastics meet with our kiddos. The place was packed wall to wall. The servers were busting it trying to get all of us folks our food. Despite some man at the bar yelling something about a soft pretzel and hungry kids while belittling the person behind the bar, and she just took it, which was completely unfair. I don’t care how upset you are, you do not talk to anyone like that. People lack humanity and do not understand what the service industry is like. The entire restaurant was packed with hungry gymnasts and our servers always had a smile and friendly attitude. I commend this place for the teamwork displayed while we were there. Did we have to wait a little while for our food? Yes. Were there 80 other people in the brewery? Also yes. But I’ll tell you that was the best dang burger I’ve had in a while and it was worth the wait! This place also is decorated very nicely for the holidays. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

If you don't work in the industry than you don't understand how hard it's been to run these businesses. Despite there only being one bartender, she was on top of everything! A pretty girl with dark brown hair; she deserves a promotion! Give these guys a break y'all! They have incredible beers, amazing food and delicious cocktails! Don't be a fool.

Loved the beer choices. They had a pumpkin beer which was AMAZING. Service was ok but there was only 2 servers and they were busy... so considering that it was ok.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I swing by every time I'm in GR. The food, the service and, of course, the great beer and atmosphere is worth the trip!! Was there with my family today 25JUN and our bartender/waitress was so AWESOME - I tipped her 30%!!! Can't wait to go back!

Had a quick pint of IPA. Very good, and great service. The beertender appeared to be working solo, and was on top of everything. The disco lights over the bar were a little annoying, so we moved to a table under normal lighting.

Popped-in for a quick pint which is ideal for this on the corner drop-in pub at the base of Medical Mile. The Hazelnut Vanilla Java Porter was an excellent choice for a cool evening. Staff was amazing!
TIP: To-go containers for beer are available since in a refreshment zone that allows outdoor drinking.

For the most part it was a good experience. We did feel a little like the bartender tended to prefer his locals and was a little slow at getting around to us - and when he did get to us he didn't really feel like engaging. Even though we told them to keep our tab open he seemed in a rush to move us along. Also seemed a little suspicious that I was taking photos for this review. Honestly though, that vibe was the only negative part of the experience. The brews were great and the atmosphere is open and friendly. We will for sure return next time we are in Grand Rapids..

Whoever runs this place knows what they are doing!....It is consitantly clean and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Whenever we are there Sean makes sure to stop at our table to see how we are doing....beyond the service, I tried thier pizza today...YES PIZZA at Atwater...it was AMAZING. They us the kind of pepperonis that curl up and get crispy, with a homemade authentic marinara sauce, all cook in an oven that chars the crust perfectly!!!! We will definitely be back🍻
