I’ve lived in Grand Rapids for many years and just decided to stop in this evening for dinner with my husband while most others were celebrating thanksgiving. The food was INCREDIBLE— flavored with warm spices to absolute perfection. We both couldn’t stop smiling from how intricately distinctive and soothing the meals were. My husband, unfortunately ate his entire meal, however, I have leftovers of which I had to write “stay out, Mark” on. If you love comfort food, try this warm alternative that your tummy will thank you for later. You won’t regret it, I promise. We will absolutely be back.

My son is in the hospital and a friend gave me a short break so I came here to get some food. The samosas were some of the best I've ever had! At the staff was friendly and quick.

We're new to the area and I'm super happy we stopped in. The butter chicken was great and the garlic naan was perfect (baked fresh to our order!) The staff was super friendly but there were a few times i had to go approach them when we needed something. All in all I think we'll be back

Saltiest tikka masala sauce I’ve ever had in my life. But the nan was lovely puffy airy and fresh right outta the oven. Rice was excellent too along with the lassi. Host was a little weird and didn’t make me feel too welcome.

Favorite Indian restaurant in GR! Friendly owners and delicious food. Their lunch buffet is the perfect chance to try multiple dishes and in a timely fashion.
For dinner I love the tomato soup, veggie samosas for starters.
Most favorite entrees: veggie tikka masala (not on the menu), baigan bhartha (eggplant), & navrattan korma. Regular or garlic naan
Additional super great dishes: chicken vindaloo, chicken saag, aloo Gabi (cauliflower), chana masala

We had samosas, lamb vindaloo and butter chicken with both cheese and garlic naan bread. The vindaloo had a great kick and the butter chicken was fantastic! Naan was great too! I’ll definitely be back!

The food is amazing and the service is good if you can flag down a server. One thing we didn't realize is that some of the dishes do not automatically come with rice. We waited for the server to come back so we could ask for rice, but the server never came back. We had to go up to the bar to get some attention, but this was probably a fluke, since they were pretty busy. All in all, it's one of the top Indian restaurants in Grand Rapids.

Awesome flavor. I love the dishes here. There are several vegetarian options. The only note I would make is that there is some heat to the spices. I love the food because it can be hot and flavorful, but even the mild dish we got had a bit of heat. My take-out was ready quicker than expected.
The staff was there as soon as I walked in and both people who spoke to me were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Had the lunch buffet. They had lots of great choices, but I filled up on the Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry, and Tandoori Chicken and didn't leave room to try the rest, but if what I ate was an indicator, the rest should be delicious, because the butter chicken and curry chicken were both awesome!

Nobody has the naan as perfect, the freshness of ingredients, the warmth and great personalities, and phenomenal flavor like Palace! Some recipes are unique to Their origins while others are the best from your favorite dishes. It can be hot or less but always packed with flavor! The Kulfie after dinner was magnificent!

I came here for a quick lunch from the lunch buffet with my Dad. The food was so savory, fresh and delicious. A few of my favorites were the tandoori chicken, butter chicken, and the hot flat bread (naan?) was so yummy. Some of the best service I've had at a restaurant in a while. Everyone working was super attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend it, and I can't wait to introduce some of my fellow foodie friends to this awesome, affordable, not to mention, beautiful restaurant :)

Only place I've ever had Indian food so I can't say how authentic but I know it's DELICIOUS! Chicken tikka masala is my favorite. Mild is tasty but if you like hot they do that well. The garlic naan is a must have. Always great service and classy ambiance. Even during Art Prize we've never had to wait long for seating or the meal.

The food here is absolutely wonderful. I have tried five different dishes and I have loved them all. The portions are sizable--can be shared by two. The dining atmosphere is upscale without the upscale prices. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a new place to eat!

I loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service but I was kind of disappointed because everything in their lunch buffet menu was chicken and I would like it if they add lamb to it. Overall I enjoyed my first experience at Palace of India and I'm definitely coming back to try one of their lamb dishes.

I love going to their lunch buffet. They change a few dishes every time and I have loved every one of them. They also balance out having some spicy dishes and some that are very mild. It's a very special experience every time and they have the best naan bread of all the other Indian restaurants I've been too. I try to go there at least once a week.

Service, atmosphere and buffet were absolutely amazing. Upscale feel without the upscale prices. Thought the samosas lacked a little flavor but that does not overshadow the rest of the food we sampled. Best butter chicken and palak paneer!

Good food. I loved dal makhani and pudina paneer masala was too good. Gravy was delicious. The breads were overly done hence going beyond crispness level. Definitely to visit for indian food in Grand Rapids
