Review Bonefish Grill - Grand Rapids

Yesterday we had my birthday dinner at Bonefish Grill! It was my first visit! Megan and Vea were our servers and they catered to every request! The hostess that greeted us made accommodations for extra guests and we had special dietary restrictions and they pivoted for a special entree not on the menu cooked to specifications. They even added condiments to enhance the flavor that wouldn’t interfere with the food allergy. The atmosphere and the lighting was relaxed romantic and elegant in my opinion. The manager stopped by to thank us for celebrating at their restaurant. He complimented how great we all looked and chatted with us. Someone gave me a birthday card with a gift card for a free appetizer! The group consensus was everything was delicious! However I have two who love spicy heat! Some ordered corn chowder, salad, Mexican street corn with shrimp, fish and chips, Salmon, artichokes and chicken, Brussels sprouts, calamari, bang bang shrimp, and our special order! They were so attentive and even the other guest in the restaurant engaged with us when we entered! I felt blessed! They were so sweet to us!

Our server Nate was outstanding. Great conversation, and a well crafted experience by a genuinely great person. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat and had a lovely time. Cheers to the staff. . . You are appreciated!

It’s probably been 15 years since I have last been in this area and about the same since I last ate here. I’m surprised it seemed just as good as last time. Most franchises degrade overtime in both atmospheres and food quality. Not this Bonefish Grill! Great same place. I had a delicious Swordfish with Maryland Crab. The whole plate was small by it was very flavorful. Could have used less salt and double the crab, but it was still good. My table of 6 with 7 drinks came to $250 including the tip. We would come back again.

One of our favorites. Couple comments: mussels were good but couldn't open 3, still plenty. I tasted the chicken from my fil's entree, he loved it but it was quit dry. It looked so good but probably wouldn't order it next time since it wasn't to my liking. Too bad, again, it looked amazing!We'll be back, one of the family favorites.

The service was top notch, The place is beautiful, I would definitely return for an appetizer and a cocktail. We had the bone in pork chop and the bang bang shrimp appetizer. Along with the chicken and shrimp. Everything was well seasoned. My pork chop was a juicy. I will return next time i'm in town.

Bonefish Grill is an outstanding place to dine. While the dining room is not conducive to private conversation, it is large enough to accommodate a sizable crowd. That means less waiting at the bar. The waitstaff was very gracious and careful. The food was prepared very well with an eye-catching presentation. We were hoping for a delightful meal of seafood and the Bonefish grill was spot on.

Backup server Anna saved the night, she’s amazing and I give her 5 stars! Our first server disappeared and disappointed. Food was delicious!

First time in, and it won’t be the last great service! This is a good place to come as a family, and sit and talk after a meal. The seafood is good, and the atmosphere is excellent. I would recommend calling ahead of time because other people will have the same idea as you.

Had a wonderful experience at Bonefish Grill. Made sure to have a reservation because quite popular in the evenings even on weekdays. We tried the bang bang shrimp which was delicious. The sauce had an excellent flavor with a bit of a bite. Highly recommend. You will also be given complementary bread with dipping oil which is good. I ordered a special, the Rockford Butterfish (black cod) which was excellent. There was a nice pesto with mozzarella on top, and the fish just melted as I ate it. Cooked perfectly. With most of the specials, you can have 2 sides. The broccoli was a bit undercooked but still good. Perhaps not the most sophisticated, but the fries are excellent. Others ordered cedar plank salmon and the poke bowl which both were delicious. Food came out quickly and with good quality.

We come here often and we have never had a problem. Always great food, service and drinks. I also love the desserts. This is an update. I've never been disappointed with anything at this Bonefish. I absolutely love their cocktails, they are made fresh and they have a great selection. Only downside, is I don't remember seeing any craft beer.

Enjoyed an amazing dinner Bonefish Grill! They provided a free meal to the Alpha Family Center of Lowell board members, building crew, and staff with appetizers, salads, samples of three entrees, and a dessert (huge portions and phenomenal food)! The new owner/manager was sharing how they love being able to thank those who serve our community so well! Loved the elegant setting, but with a hometown family hospitality. Highly recommend!!!

Always a great experience at Bonefish Grill. We were there celebrating my husband's birthday and our waiter, John Gibson, was the best ever! He took such good care of us. We were treated like royalty by other members of the team also. He had a terrific birthday at Bonefish. The wine selection is amazing - Stags Leap Petite Shiraz was our wine of choice and it was excellent! It was a birthday celebration to remember, thanks to the great staff and food at Bonefish Grill!!!

Truly delightful! The food is exquisite and very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service is timely and professional, but Always with a smile. Michelle my server is the best!!!!

Amazing food and great staff! Fully recommend this place to anyone interested in trying it! Bang Bang shrimp is amazing! 5 stars!

Had a wonderful dinner tonight. Griffin our server was amazing, knowledgeable and very efficient. Love coming to this place. Thanks for the fabulous food!!!

I've been here many times in the past 2 years with friend's and family and had wonderful experiences. But tonight it was just awful. We had the cedarplank Steelhead salmon and it was waaayyy too salty and had a strange flavor. We did the meal for 2 for $55 and it was STILL grossly overpriced. The roasted root vegetables were greasy and had large cumbersome chunks of feta cheese on it. Food aside, the waiter we had tonight was dismissive, and didn't seem interested at all in us. He didn't even clear our plates before a different waitress brought out our dessert. I don't usually complain but this was like a glorified cafeteria meal. Just not worth the price.

Great Servive from Griffin!!! My shrimp was too spicy for me and he was so kind to bring me a new meal. The manager even stopped by our table to check on me! Awesome place to eat!!!

By far my personal favorite place to eat! I order something different each time and every bite is always delicious! It's our go-to for date night. Service is always outstanding. Some may consider it pricey, I believe it's worth every penny.

Leslie and I love going to Bonefish..! By far this is our favorite place..! As always, we had exceptional service from John our server and the food was Awesome..! The restaurants manager Mike stopped by our table and made sure we were enjoying our visit. Started off with Bang Bang Shrimp, a bottle of JLohr Riverstone Chard, Atlantic Char for Leslie and I had the Sea Bass. Topped the wonderful meal with key lime pie for dessert. Looking forward to our next visit..!!
