Everything was AMAZING! My husband and I split the 6 course meal with wine pairing. Main entree was the duck and it was easily the best duck I’ve had. Service was phenomenal with our waitress going as far as helping us look for an Airbnb to stay in. We ended up staying at the hotel and everything was lovely. I would recommend this place every day and plan on taking my family here when they’re in town!
I can't say enough good things about the service, quality, and ambiance of O-A Bistro. The new location at the Gateway is both warm and inviting. If you are dining in the evening (as my wife and I did), I would recommend you take a moment to excuse yourself from the table to stroll onto the patio and watch the sun set over Grand Lake. And be sure to bring your wine with you while you do! This is truly a gem in Grand County. Take my advice, for a date night out with your lady (or man) of choice, look no further than O-A Bistro.

I love that with a little advanced warning they can accommodate a vegan diet. Hard to find nice places who are even willing.
I had the delicious scallops as recommended by the chef. My Grandson had the meatball sliders as a perfect meal for a 12 year old. Great service and atmosphere

I am so glad the lady at Whispering Pines suggested this restaurant. We celebrated our 33rd Anniversary with a wonderful dinner & a bottle of wine. My husband had the 6 course scallop dinner & I had the 2 course lamb shank dinner. Both were delicious. Service was great. We will definitely go back on our next visit to Grand Lake.

This place has one of the best happy hours in Grand Lake 4p-6p. The views of Mt. Craig (Mt. Baldy) from their open deck are unmatched. The people are super friendly, they make excellent beverages and good food. It is one of the establishments where the locals congregate. This is a highly recommended stop if visiting Grand Lake, Colorado.

We're second home owners and support the local establishments, especially this time of year when it's slower. We have to say this is by far our favorite place to eat and have cocktails and meet up with friends when we're in town. Consistently good and best prices. Great staff too! You guys rock!
We drove into Rocky Mountain National Park and the nightmare happened: We had locked ourselves out of our car just before sunset. It became freezing cold and we sought shelter in the tavern. We were greeted with the finest rock music and a very friendly waiter who made us hot chocolate. The atmosphere and the view were so great that I would love to be stuck there again!
Late October/Early November 2023 - only two bars open in town. This was one of them and we loved it.

The food was gourmet style. Breakfast was tasty. We were so glad to have a hearty and fresh breakfast during PANDEMIA. They were remodeling to add outdoor space. Nice rustic setting. We met the owner and we made friends with a marmot

I would remember this place because how they treat kids. We had two young children in our group and I must say, this is the most kid friendly restaurant i've been to. Good job guys, keep it up.
Ray was our bartender/server/surrogate mom for the evening, and she made our night an 11/10. The food was great, the drinks were exceptional, and Ray's thoughtfulness and sincerity made my husband's 40th birthday. I can't speak highly enough about her!
I stopped in with my bf while we spent a day in Grand Lake and we had a great experience! Jason, our bartender, was very attentive and provided excellent service. The BOGO for happy hour is an amazing deal, I’ll definitely be returning soon

My Fiance and I have been in the hospitality business/management for 15+ years combined. We were thoroughly impressed with this establishment each time we went. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for outstanding food and service while in Grand Lake. The owner and our waiter, Dean, took excellent care of us. The owner and staff were great at accommodating my 14 month old son with eggs, apple sauce, and a plastic baby spoon. In addition, my mother who is gluten intolerant, was able to eat worry free and did not get sick. We went twice for breakfast, but did not have a chance to try dinner. Very impressed with the level of food and service they provided. This restaurant is a must for anyone visiting Grand Lake! Thank you
