Food is good. People working there could use some people skills. My 10 year old son wanted to eat there for his birthday meal. He got to experience people who appeared to not even want him there. It was very apparent that they didn't care for smaller children in their business. My wife and I have been there alone many times, but this spoils our taste for Rib Shack. We definitely will not be returning.

Best Around!. The BBQ here is to die for! For the last several years, husband and I have been trying to find at least ONE really good BBQ place in the Fort Worth area where we live (I've lost count) and everything left us cold. Preferences in BBQ can be so diverse. For us, it's all about the smoke. Everywhere we've been (that includes Cooper's, Railhead, Angelo's and Longoria's) merely "kiss" it with smoke. No measly 4 hours in the smoker is enough for us! A light scent of wood smoke and no flavor was what we found time and time again. So eating Rib Shack for the first time left us misty-eyed with happiness! Yes, as others have written, the ribs are amazing. Smokey, juicy and fall off the bone tender but still firm. My personal fave is the pulled pork. Consistently tender and flavorful with the perfect amount of smoke flavor. Same goes for the sliced brisket, chopped beef and turkey. That's all we've had so far but our goal is to try everything on the menu. I drove an hour there to pick up a ton of food and drove the hour back. It was worth it!!! So if you're looking for a BBQ place that actually isn't afraid to smoke their meat, go to Rib Shack!!!!
FALLIN' OFF THE BONE RIBS. Decided to take a road trip today in quest of "The Rib Shack". These are some of the best ribs I've had in a looong time and the hot bbq sauce ranks right on top. The spicey pickles were excellent, I've never had any like these, thick sliced and juicy, and now the dessert. Look out bananna pudding lovers this is worth a try, homemade and not out of a can. I will most definatly go back again.

Worth the Drive. Great surprise for the little out of the way BBQ Shack. Recently was in Granbury and had heard this was pretty good. I am not the biggest fan of BBQ and I am really picky. I had the ribs and OMG they were fall off the bone great flavor lip smackin' best ribs in a long time!!! My Mother had the pulled pork and my friend had the pulled pork sandwich with beans and cheese. Everyone thought it was great and can't wait to go again. Do not miss the homemade pickles...Wonderful and those alone will have me back monthly at the very least. Definitely worth the drive.

Having lived in Texas for a very long time, I've eaten my fair share of BBQ. Rib shack is the best! Cute place, great service, wonderful selection, and the sauce is to die for. Absolutely recommend!!
Welcome to the Rib Shack. This place has to have the best ribs on this side of the equator. The establishment is well kept and clean with 100% rustic Texan feel. Most businesses claim to have the best bar-b-que, and rarely this is true. But it also depends on ones idea of great Q. The Q here is moist and not dry. You can tell that the owner has some history behind his smokes and quality is in every bite. If you are in the Granbury area, this is one place you definitely want to come off the main highway and eat. Bring your appetite because you will get mad coming by without an empty stomach.
First of all it is now called Brock's BBQ. I haven't had the ribs yet. But I had an awesome combo of really delicious, consistent quality sausage and a most excellent brisket that I never had to use the knife on! The beans were fantastic! I can't wait to try out the ribs! This is some seriously good barbecue... And great atmosphere inside and out!!!
I am new to the area and wasn’t sure I would find barbecue as good as back home in West Texas. We were pleasantly surprised. The brisket was fall off the fork tender and the sides were great. The pickles were amazing. We ordered a good sized take out order. It was ready to go when we arrived. Good prices...great food...friendly service! I highly recommend the rib shack!
A Granbury treasure, Brock's has some wonderful BBQ and a great atmosphere. Live music in the bar and a killer patio with outdoor stage seals the deal. They even offer a nice separate area for cigar smokers - quite a rarity nowadays.
Stopped by after fishing, food was delicious and waitstaff were nice. Had sausage and rib plate with beans and potato salad. If you haven't tried their food you need to drop in.
This place is awesome! The food is amazing and the staff is always a pleasure. They remember me every time I come in, and they keep everything so clean. That banana pudding is to die for and I can't get enough of their juicy perfect brisket. Keep it up! You've got yourself a lifelong customer

The RibShack was a nice little place! You can smell the good smoky food as soon as you walk in! I had the ribs my wife had a pulled pork sandwich! We both commented on how good our food was! My only complaint was I wish I had ordered more ribs!!
