Timberline Summit Pass - Government Camp - Photo album

Good place to learn skiing or snowboarding. There are only 3 runs, 2 greens and 1 blue. The only lift is slow, but has a nice view. It does get a bit toasty ☀️so keep that in mind when packing clothes
Beautiful place to have lunch. The food was excellent. The brisket was very good and it came with a second plate of vegetables and corn on the cob. The service was very friendly and they went the extra mile to be kind to my dog
Bearbeque poem. My rented house entrance had one stair, and there was a noise, I knew it was bear. At midnight he was, I just didn't care. Too late for hellos by the trash can fare. Too tired to greet the front door bear. I was sleepy and ghosted the bear over there. But the trash can noise
Best spot for snowboarding.! Great time winter sports at Spring Break for teenagers. So many people are there but you bought the season tickets or 1-1/2 day passes are great deals for family.
Perfect spot for a beginner or first-timer learning how to ski/snowboard. Easy access from Portland. Nice dynamic pricing for 1/2 day options. Runs are the perfect length, a few different route and obstacles to take (narrow, rolling hills/jumps, trees). And the snow was nice and powdery.
11/10 recommend this spot for a beginner skier. The runs are long enough, but not super steep, so you can really practice the basics and get comfortable. I started the day shaky but optimistic and ended it with a huge smile on my face and gained tremendous confidence. Hardly anyone on the slopes and
Great place to practice for novice skiers! Wide slopey runs. Chairlift is slow but peaceful! AT ski trail starts here!
We had an awesome time at The Summit . My kids and I have never been skiing before ,it was an amazing experience. The staff was super friendly , and even helped my daughter on the mountain when she couldn’t figure out breaking ! Can’t wait to go again !!
It's one lift at Summit but has like 3 tracks to snowboard. I paid $60 for a half day for me and my son. This place is awesome!! I'm a beginner and my son is medium rider and he had a blast, I was worried that he'll be bored of Summit but he had fun.
No snow right now, but it's a nice place to stop and exercise your legs, you can hike up the hill if you like and see beautiful views. The trails go to the top of the ski area. Snow cones in the summer were a nice treat, there's a lot to explore here, but I it's also nice for a quick stop
Great place for a fun day In the snow and great staff this is hands down best place to go with family. I do recommend always carrying chains in your car because road conditions change very fast but the roads are very easy to maneuver and plenty of space for driving and not to far from sandy.
Really nice area to be on Mt. Hood. Hiking trails, skiing, snowboarding, and many other activities to do there. Great for kids too with great sledding spots.
Stopped on the way home from camping for a quick bite to eat at 10am. Best breakfast sandwich ever! Seriously the bomb. The view of Hood in the background with a hot cup of Joe. 5 stars. Awesome customer service. No complaints.
First time here and I really enjoyed the runs up in Timberline and Jeff Flood lift. The lift right at the Summit pass is for greens and beginners. But you can catch a free shuttle up to Timberline or drive (only recommended if you get there super early). I got lucky with catching a powdery day on a
This place is GREAT. Not only is the food wonderful, the people are AMAZING. My car broke down and my family and I had to spend hours at the restaurant waiting. The women here were so wonderful and went way above and beyond to make sure that my family were taken care of. Just truly amazing humans.
Forget about Snow Bunny. I'd rather pay the money to come here at Summit Ski so the kiddos can go tubing safely. Less of a crowd between 9am to 2p and there aren't people walking up the hill while you're trying to sled downhill. Bonus is the little cafe here & the clean bathrooms. My family and I ar
Everything you could want for a place to learn - a slice of heaven for me and my six year old. If you’re looking for the Vail / Aspen experience you’re in the wrong place. If you’re looking for an old school ski lodge and a fun simple hill full of laughter and families...you’re in luck, and your wa
We love this place, and we have easy access from Portland. Small ski runs, which are perfect for kids, and beginners of all ages. The price is really fair and the gift lines are really never too long. Parking can be difficult, but the food is priced reasonably.
