Steak 'n Shake

Very disappointed. Lobby locked and the only way to get service 2as drive thru. Burgers were cold, French fries were even colder. Only had two blocks to drive to get home- no excuse for the cold food. I tried to pay for the meal with the only money I had; which was $100 bill( I traveled in from Yuma AZ and had no smaller bills) Nothing posted anywhere that approved legal tender was not accepted.

Hands down absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had with a restaurant! Where do I begin? My sister and I are both pregnant, did a little shopping next door and worked up ourselves quite the appetite. With this being so close to the store we were shopping at I pulled in and waited in line to get our order taken through drive through. Thinking this was going to be a good place to get a quick bite to eat. Probably the biggest letdown I have had ina very long time. We waited behind 1 car for 10 minutes! They drove off without getting their order. There was also a truck that had pulled in and eventually drove after the line did not budge in this time. When I get to the window I am immediately told the wait is going to be another 10 minute wait. I said that was fine and proceeded to wait. Occasionally hearing giggling and random phrases said through the speaker the young man finally got on, took my order and even repeated it back to me. I ordered a #1 with everything except onions and pickle/ coke cola and a bacon double with cheese with everything/ coke cola. I then pulled up, he took my card and swiped. And gave me this receipt for an order that was taken at the time I arrived and was waiting behind the 1st car. (I didn't know until I stopped for gas and we looked at the receipt) Not my order. They got the whole thing completely wrong. Charged me for my actual order and gave me this sad excuse of a burger. As soon as we start leaving my sister tells me the fries are cold and barely filled. I didn't turn around because there was quite a line and I was tired and ready to head home. This was at the times of 6:47pm-7:15pm when we left the parking lot to head home. There was a young male and female working at this time. Do better! It was apparent there was no regard to the customer or the company itself and lack of management! Extremely disappointed. My time was wasted and I did not get what I paid for. Not happy!

Ordered online...had to sit in drive thru to pick up food....extra 20-25min wait.....got food forgot the cheese fries...gave us Oster crackers no order of chili or reason......I mean you had 30 extra minutes to get an order right!!! Come on are you going to refund me for the extra money I spent an didn't receive or pocket the extra money you made...horrible

Service was wonderful and super friendly, dining room was near spotless, food was Steak n Shake ya pay for what you get but a bit better. I would have given it 4 or even 5 stars if the restroom were in better condition,and it should be for the location it's in furthermore inexcusable for it to be in the condition it is and made me wonder how sanitary the kitchen is. In my experience with restaurants that build up and lack of care put into basic cleanliness of a restroom leaves me to believe no one checks these or cleans as often as needed. The smell of urine was overwhelming, soap wasn't coming out of one of dispensers and real bad calcium tainting the sinks, build up in both toilet bowls(how long has it been since they cleaned it properly?) and observed urine build up under the urinal, all I did was take a simple glance down at it to spot it. Ya gotta play dumb to not see any of that. Stay out of the restroom and you'll be alright!

Went to the Goshen Steak n Shake, employees there were very pleasant and helpful. Received my order quickly and it was the greatest tasting burger that I've had in a long time. The manager handed me my order and also told me to have a great day and enjoy. Such a super nice fellow and I did indeed enjoy every bite!!

They sure do make the Frisco Melt look delicious in the pictures, but going to get mine at 10:45pm after a LONG 16 hour work day and having nothing to eat all day... I tell you it sure was extremely disappointing getting home to finally sit down and eat, and I open up my Frisco Melt wrapper to see this garbage. I guess I'm going to bed hungry while my dog gets a nice snack if she even wants it... Thanks again steak n shake! 👌🏻👎
