Took my kids here for breakfast before they headed back to Kentucky. Thought it might be a little pricey at first, but the food and the service were top notch and well worth it. Looking forward to going again......

Delightful place with a good menu of items I would not have expected to find in western Kansas. If you are in the area, this is the place to go.

Friendly folks, cute restaurant, good food. Driving through western Kansas is all small towns. We stopped here for lunch and would recommend to all. Lunch was very inexpensive, but very good. We both had salads - Chef's Salad and Oriental Chicken. Chef's salad was better but for the price you can't beat it. Be sure to check out the copy of the Van Gogh Sunflowers painting (huge) near the highway. Campy and definitely worth a stop to see.

We were just passing through on our way to the west coast and wanted a sit down local place and the employee at Quality Inn recommended here- glad we stopped! Delicious food! Lunch time we were the only four people so we had the place to ourself. The little boy was friendly with my kids and greeted people when they came in. Great place for families and quick /friendly service! Very little wait time between ordering and eating which is great when you have hungry, impatient kiddos! We got potato skins as our appetizer, the fish sandwich (cod fillet) with fries and delicious fry sauce, and the brick burger with onion rings. Kids ate up their chicken strips and my daughter got pancakes that came topped with chocolate chips!

We stopped in for dinner but ended up having breakfast. My husband enjoyed the country fried steak. The country skillet was excellent, particularly the potatoes. We all enjoyed the pancakes. The service was friendly and quick!

Simply delicious and delightful. Great omelets. Wonderful coffee. The best homemade green chili in Kansas- we bought extra to take home. This place is a must.

What a pleasure ... we were looking at the rather disappointing list of restaurants in Goodland (i.e., all chains), and decided to take a chance on this place. Neat place ... on an otherwise mostly abandoned main street in Goodland, you have this beautifully restored old storefront with attractive landscaping. Well, it is an immigrant couple that decided to create a neat restaurant. The menu is all American food, but well executed, and done by hand. We tried the ribeye steak and the meatloaf, both served with potato on the side and a salad. All that for under $35! We ate until we were stuffed, and everything was excellent ... the ribeye was cooked nicely and still juicy, and the meatloaf was tasty. In sum, highest rating possible!
