Riverhouse Tavern

Dropped in after a long day, it was close to the Hotel we decided that based on a few of the reviews that it would be worth a shot. WOW I had the Riv Burger, the Wife had Beef deep. We both were beyond impressed with the meal. Dustin was busting it out at the Bar and was friendly, efficient and made notice that we were visiting and took a little extra care. It was busy and that kind of attention detail goes a long way especially during times when service can be the first to go. Well done Boys we will be back again on the next trip through. Here's us already smashing half the meal before realizing these guys deserve a 5 star!

There's a lot of heavy metal music, kind of local bar. The chicken hamburger is very good and at a decent price. The beer selection is not very wide, but it's good enough. There's free pool for you to play. And in the summer time you can take advantage of the campfire at the patio, with look to the river. Really cool overall.

This is definitely more of a bar than a restaurant, which is not what I expected when I brought my ~60 year old parents here for dinner. It’s a small place with loud alt rock/punk music playing. We were not expecting stellar food but we were pleasantly surprised by what my mom called “the best quesadilla she’s ever had” followed with a good burger, good Yorkshire pudding wrapped turkey, and excellent French onion soup. Despite the food coming out a little overdone (burnt), the flavors were spectacular and exceeded our expectations. The beer was good, and the server/waitress/bar tender all-in-one was was wonderful. She took care of everyone. Nice little place here, just be sure to know what you’re walking into :)
