Review Golden Moon Speakeasy - Golden

Golden has some great cocktails, but for my money you can't beat the libations at Golden Moon. Originally just the tasting room for their local distillery, they quickly grew into a full scale cocktail bar serving all their own drinks in a speakeasy-like space, and the drinks, staff, and ambiance don't disappoint. On busy nights give them a little patience, but the drinks are worth it. Pro-tip: grab a bottle to take home with you. Their single malt whiskeys can't be beat.

Ella the bartender was very knowledgeable about our Spirit tasting. Not busy when we were there so we had time to get good information. We ended up purchasing 2 bottles. Can’t wait to share them. Can’t speak to the food as we did not eat. Good spot!

Had no idea coming in that this place is also a distillery. We had some of their house single malt and absinthe. Slightly different flavor profiles for those than we're used to, but still greatly enjoyed them. Delicious drinks, casual and quiet atmosphere (not your typical bar scene), and great service! We'll be back.

Craft cocktails in a speakeasy atmosphere. Local distilled selections and a unique mix of libations. Bottles available for purchase. Their Mixologists are knowledgeable and talented and can craft up a delectable drink for you. Good charcuterie plates should you want a nibble during your visit. Sometimes they have live music. Good for a date night or a small gathering with friends.

Great ambiance—shit staff Lack luster staff. Sat at the bar for 5 mins listening to 3 bartenders complain to each other. Not even a “hello” or welcome” given by either of them. Once we ordered we felt as if we were a burden to them. Unfortunate that the attention to detail that the owners put into decorating the tactility doesn’t reflect in customer service given by the staff.

Excellent cocktails, INCLUDING a very well made Ramos gin fizz! Super cool ambiance as well. Cheers!

I read the other reviews where patrons complained that the staff was rude and unhelpful and I wish 4 months later things were different but it is not. We were so excited to find this cute place last night! But after sitting for quite some time at the bar, right in front of the bartenders, with no acknowledgment at all-it seems that not much has improved. And no, it wasn't super busy. We finally flagged someone down and they very curtly pointed us to the QR code. Then, when we had questions about the different alcohols, as this IS a distillery, they were condescending, like-what you don't know what voilete is? I said is it more like vodka, or gin, or what? "It's floral" and dismissed us. oh ok. Anyway-no one wants to pay $$$ for fancy cocktails and then feel stupid and ignored. Nope.

What a fun little special speakeasy. Staff was super friendly and the drinks were amazing. Hats off to all that work there you all deserve a giant pat on the back for a job well done.
