It was nice to find a place with solid food in Gold Beach after driving from the Redwoods. The menu has burger, salads, full and mini sandwiches, meat meals in one pound, half and quarter pounds, and combo meals with sides. I selected a pulled pork sandwich, and a chicken breast mini with bacon. It took about twenty minutes for my food to arrive on a slow weekday with a few customers. The pork was moist and had good taste on a solid bun. The chicken breast was not overcooked and did have good flavor with the bacon. Located on Ellensburg Avenue (Hwy 101) near 6th street and across from Rays Food Place. A nice place to stop a bite to eat with a number of menu options including BBQ, burgers, and chili with friendly service.

I got the 2 meat one side meal and I couldn't finish it, it was so much food. The ribs are awesome and the seasoning was great. The tri-tip was great also but the ribs were on another level. The beer catalog could be a little filled out but I still got beer I enjoyed.

Stopped in here on a roadtrip as it was one of the only places in town open on a Sunday. Service was great, food was great, huge portions for the price. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because they were out of Pastrami and we really wanted to try it.

The best tasting barbecue ever in the middle of nowhere. The wait staff was excellent and took care of our doggie, too.

John our waiter was amazing. Super friendly. The meats we had were the ribs, brisket, chicken and pastrami. Delicious!! The sides are okay. Would definitely go back for the meat.

This place is amazing! Not only is the food phenomenal, but the owner and staff are the absolute best! I have never met someone as kind as they have been to me. Everything I tried (brisket, ribs, Mac and cheese, clam chowder and beans) was so delicious. The clam chowder is hands down the best I have ever tried (and I’ve tried A LOT!) Highly recommend this place! I cannot say enough good things

Great BBQ along the Southern Oregon Coast. Every item I tried for 3 meat platter was good, but ribs were my favorite. Perhaps the best cornbread I've ever had - very moist and flavorful. Service was absolutely great from the owner/chef (I think) to the lovely server lady. Highly recommended while traveling through the area.

Excellent food. Generously sized portions. Staff is extremely friendly and personable. The food is excellent. My personal favorite was the ribs...just falls off the bone!! Enjoyed a burger and chili cheese fries as well as brisket and pulled pork over two days. If you are in Gold Beach this place is a gem!

Good food and service. The Brisket was great, tender and flavored just right. Fried pickle spears were also very good. Wife really enjoyed the chili cheese fries. Will definitely stop here next time I am in the area.

We had such an amazing experience here and the food is fantastic! It was so yummy that we came back again on our second day in town. Do yourself a favor and go here just to meet Kate. She was so on top of things, took great care of us, and she’s just fun to talk to :) Go to Gold Beach BBQ!!!!!

Great smoked meats, we did the brisket, pulled pork & baby back ribs. My husband is an experienced smoker & this place was good! We aren't always fans of smoked meats @ restaurants as you can't rush it... it deff was done right here! So glad we stopped as we were passing thru. Service was great, friendly & great recommendations. Great sides, loved the chowder! We loved it all! And they served real butter, not cheap fake spread.

Omg hidden gem with some jaw dropping brisket. I judge bbq places based on their brisket and I was impressed!!!! Super nice and friendly staff. Fun environment. Clean restrooms. I’m from Portland and thinking of my next trip here as an excuse to come back. The corn muffins are delicious as well. Their BBQ backs up the awards. The cheesy corn had some jalapeño kick - mmmmm. You gotta go!!

This place was fabulous! Our server, Kate, welcomed us and was SO helpful. She let me taste a beer to help in my decision. She explained the Dirty Fries and the sweet chili with peanut sauce & brisket were amazing. The owner also stopped by to greet us! If you are in Gold Beach, Oregon, EAT HERE!

Delicious food, generous portions, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They had a coloring book and crayons to keep my daughter entertained while we awaited our food, and the food was so good I forgot to take a picture until half of it was already gone. I especially recommend the dirty fries, we got the garlic parmesan fries with pork belly.

Wow what a fantastic place to stop in Gold Beach along the Oregon coast some of the best BBQ we have ever had and the bread pudding was mouth watering. The owner Leonard is the grill master and chef also went to each table greated everyone he is stand up guy. Kate our server so plesent and helpful. This is a must stop when traveling along the Oregon coast hwy 101.

I've always loved the meat from wild oaks and I was sad to hear he was moving from our area but wished him luck on his endeavor hoping to see him soon. I was really missing the pastrami and brisket so when my birthday rolled around, we decided to venture and check out the new restaurant in Port Orford. Everything is still top notch. Really cute restaurant with the same smoky oak flavor and fall apart meat. One of my favorite things there is the chili and I got all kinds of requests to bring food back home to Humboldt. I got a great birthday meal and brought home ribs and pastrami for myself! Will be back again soon!

We had three people in our party and we ordered the pulled pork, brisket, ribs, smoked macaroni and cheese, bacon clam chowder, and the smoked meat chili. The portions were huge and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Everything we ordered was amazing. With each of us ordering one meat, one side, and soft drink our bill was $39. The brisket was better than any I had in Texas, the pulled pork and ribs were smoky and flavorful. The house made barbecue sauce was sweet and tangy. Overall this is one of the best meals I've had this year.

If you like smoked bbq, oh man is this the place for you. Smoked bacon, brisket, pulled pork, and ribs that fall right off the bone, are just a few of the awesome meats. This is the best bbq on the coast, really in the state. A must try if you are anywhere near Port Orford. One last thing, don't miss the smoked bacon Mac and cheese. So tasty. A must try!

Awesome place, great guy too. We got attention right away and he’s a good conversationist. You leave feeling like you know him! Don’t let the exterior of the restaurant fool you. It might not catch your attention, but it is well worth the stop. We are glad we stumbled upon this on our trip up the Oregon coast. The portions were huge, and the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were both awesome. Thanks for lunch man!

Finally got some food here today for a late lunch. Wow just had the mac and cheese best I have ever had !!! The smokiness with the little bits of meat, hard not to eat it all but saved just enough to munch on tomorrow. Definitely going back for more food in future! The owner is very kind also, so a double plus!

I have always made a Pit Stop in Port Orford. I usually stop for Fish. But it was nice to stop at Wild Oaks Grill. I've been eating his food for years now. Kind of miss just being able to go get some anytime I want. Now it is three hours away. The food was great as always. Service was great too. They even let me order the Chili Dog that is not even on the menu, Oh, and they even filled up a bucket of water for my Daughter to Water her horse that was outside in a trailer.

We stopped in this evening for supper. What a treat. The best barbeque ever. The coleslaw was also the best. Thanks for the friendly conversation. We will be back tomorrow for Taco Tuesday!

Welp i just experianced Awful customer service. Sarcastic attitude and extremely condescension for literally no reason. Lol wow... This FB page and yelp account have him listed still in humboldt. So I asked if he was still ever in humboldt and he gave me sarcastic replies and treated me as if that was the dumbest question ever. His bbq was sub par as well. Its just easy for work parties which is why i was inquiring. :) just some honest feedback "dude". enjoy.

I sometimes hesitate to give a 5 star review, because I don’t always believe them when I read them. However, Wild Oaks Grill deserves all 5 stars and then some. My husband and I visited on 9/10/17. A fantastic experience and incredible BBQ. Our favorites were the tri-tip, babyback ribs, pulled pork, the BBQ sauce and the most amazing macaroni and cheese I’ve ever had - smoky, but not too smoky, incredibly cheesy, hearty and heavy texture and amazingly complex flavors – a true masterpiece. Wow. Rustic but clean place, cozy, great service. We were treated incredibly well and were touched by the small reserved table with a vase of flowers and US flags, where a black slip-cover over the back of a chair proclaimed it was reserved for POW/MIAs. Rob is truly a master of his craft. We live many miles away in Brookings, but when we want BBQ – this is where we’ll come.
