Halibut Point Restaurant

A marvelous place for a quality romantic dinner. The staff was attentive but didn't hover about. I had the teriyaki steak tips, medium rare, with real mashed potatoes along with roasted carrots and green beans. Cooked to perfection. Although the place was busy the atmosphere allowed for normal conversation without talking loudly to be heard. There wasn't any pressure to leave which was a good reason to order desert. The chocolate cheesecake with whipped cream complimented the dinner perfectly. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

A Cape Ann staple, chowder was fantastic and fast, the drinks were stiff and the staff was as always, unique in a good way. One of my favorite things about Halibut is that there is interaction among the clientele, not obtrusive at all, but a sense of comradere between the patrons, kind of like they all know that's exactly where they should be right then, and everyone feels the same way.
