Great place to take kids to play while you have a drink. Food is basic. Service has always been excellent.

First time here in many a year and pleasantly surprised.
First class service all day; food is standard pub fare, tasty and good value.
Kids play area out the back is a great idea and very popular on a rare sunny(ish) day!

Stopped off for a pint after playing Abbeymead in a friendly. Pub staff seemed friendly and welcoming and the pub was spacious and set out nicely. Would definitely go back

Booked for Sunday lunch last week as never been before... it was so good..! Good range of meat, beef, chicken, gammon and lamb..! Wide selection of vegetables, peas carrots, Broccoli, green beans, cauliflower cheese. Roast potatoes were on par with my husbands delicious! Overall I was surprised and very impressed with the roast dinner and would highly recommend 👌 😋

New play area is fantastic for kids. Carvery on a Sunday is superb staff are friendly and an all round good atmosphere.

A really lovely locals local. It would seem being with a local helped, and apparently it was the calmest and nicest they’d ever seen it, so guess it’s reputation is changing.
Lovely friendly staff, great selection of drinks. Looks good for watching sport.

Really brilliant place, amazing for kids and the food was good for the price but its quite unorganised regarding communication between FOH staff and kitchen staff, I would definitely go back again though.
