Fantastic place foe a cheap beer, atmosphere dropped a bit when the DJ started randomly playing drum and bass but recovered quickly.a good pint at a reasonable price. So come have fun

Staff are brilliant polite and quickly. Drink prices are superb. Atmosphere is brilliant plenty of TV’s and sports showing a perfect traditional pub. Outside seating aswell

Got absolutely smashed at this pub best night in a long time, fair play to the bar man Tommy he put up with alot but still kept his sense of humour he was brilliant, definitely be back 😁

Love this pub , I live in Cheltenham and come over to the sword , it’s a lovely atmosphere and friendly , i and my partner are Gay and it’s lovely to be able to come to a pub that feels to be LGBT friendly, certainly non judgemental to whoever you are. I’m spreading the word around to other gay friends to try visiting the Sword , I think they will be pleasantly surprised. Well done to all staff , your an inspiration to the LGBT community .
