Fantastic down to earth pub. Very well kept cask ale (Butcombe Best Bitter and Timothy Taylor Landlord were on). Food is very good value and there is plenty of choice. The garden and views are lovely, very friendly locals and staff. Dogs are welcome in the bar. We understand the Sunday lunches are very good. We will be back.

We had dinner here last week. The service is very friendly and we felt very welcome. The whitebait was excellent, a huge portion and a tasty salad.
I tried to book in for Sunday lunch but it was fully booked.
