The venue is nice and away from the city. The food is presented well and they don't skimp on the ingredients. My food tasted great.
It costs about the same as a chain pub but the feel is more homey and the staff are very nice. The outdoor seating is nice.
My one suggested area of improvement is for more parasols in the outdoor seating area.

If you are going for food don't order too much as portions are so large! Very friendly young couple run the place. Great burgers. All cooked to order so leave enough time as you may have a wait if they are busy.

We arrived at 1515 and the pub still accommodated - which was a relief.
The food was excellent. Plenty and good quality.
The most dog friendly pub we have been to - even dished up some food for our dog.
The owner was very friendly and a great host. Even let me try his battered cream egg!

Went here just because we wanted to have some food by the river and this pub was brilliant. Friendly staff, great food, great Views and to top it off great dogs around that were very friendly. Will be back again. Thank you

We were a family group of 19 adults/ children who booked at very short notice for the Sunday before Christmas 2018. The owners were amazing, they said that if we didn't mind eating after 14.00 they would feed us all! They gave us our own cosy room with a really well cooked roast carvery meal - three types of roast joints and lots of vegetables and super Yorkshire puddings and gravy.
The service wa superb and staff super friendly and the ambiance was perfect, just like being in one's own home but with rustic bells on!
My husband likes Guinness and ordered a pint of their porter which he loved. The owner even gave my daughter some of it to take home for him!
I have nothing but praise for this pub.

Fantastic local pub hidden on the side of the river Severn. Food is excellent, focus is an wide range burgers for anyone interested. Staff are lovely and helpful. though the inside of the pub lacks room to swing a cat there is plenty of seating outside for those fine weather days.
