19th street Diner is located in beautiful Glenwood Springs, Co. It’s not too far off of I-70 so if you are traveling cross country I recommend you stop by this beautiful town. The parking can be a headache and pretty tight next to the liquor store, so if there’s no parking you can park at a nearby bank and walk a block. The owner was a sweetheart, very kind and so was her son. My oldest son and I had some good conversations with him. The food was quickly prepared and fresh. The portion sizes were great and fairly priced (they were cheap!). I ordered the open face cheeseburger with chili and it was delicious. My only issue (which isn’t necessarily a problem with the Diner or it’s staff) was some other customers. They appeared to be very racist, breaking their necks to stare at my family and I, giving dirty looks and whispering to each other etc. When my wife attempted to pacify them with smiles, it was met with cold angry stares. I am used to it but it wasn’t what I was looking forward to when Dining in after a 17 hour drive with 4 hours of driving ahead of us still. Again, we had no issue with the workers of 19th Street Diner, it was locals dining in.

Absolutely amazing service! Very cute atmosphere. It definitely seems like more of a local place which makes the experience even better. I am very picky with my food to be cooked a certain way, and the server went above and beyond to make sure we get exactly what we asked for. 5/5

Wonderful service! The atmosphere is a true diner setting and welcoming feeling. The food was delicious and more than reasonably priced. I’m in town for work and will certainly be back to try out their bar area too!

This was our first time here. It was amazing. Husband had smothered chili cheese burger w/onion rings and I got the pulled pork w/fries. There was so much we couldn't finish them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

It would have been 5 stars if the waitress ms hadn't wiped the crust from her mouth then immediately grab the top of our food with the same hand. Almost walked away. The food was absolutely superb. The service was uplifting and very welcoming. I would definitely come back here again. The prices were very very good and the amount of food served was just right.

Exceptional food and service!! My family and I were in town for a couple of days and ate here 3 times it was so good. Once for dinner and twice for breakfast. For dinner we had the fried shrimp, chicken fried steak and beef tips over noodles. All were delicious. Everything we had for breakfast (coffee, eggs, omelettes, bacon, potatoes, etc) was amazing but especially their pancakes and hand patted sausage patties. Everything was delicious. Quick service and super friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

Oh my gosh, as soon as you walk in you're taken back to the 50's !! The feel, the smell, the atmosphere is like going home. Well for those of you who experienced a 50's diner. The food was simple, (we had breakfast)and tasty. And like a typical diner--the food came out fast and hot. More seating is in the back, not sure if the 50's decor follows through. Prices were very good. Parking may be a challenge. A favorite of locals.
