Bakery 519

**I was informed they have made many changes, improvements. I did see they have breakfast on weekends. I will stop in asap and update my reveiw. ** Not one of my favorite bakeries around...they have some great things but there's no kind of consistency with the menu. They make whatever they feel like that day. The CAKES ARE BEAUTIFUL! To look at...but very dry.

Don’t sleep on this place. Every time I go there I am never disappointed. The bakery items are amazing! But I need to rant and rave about how amazing their breakfast sandwhiches are. First of all they are only $5, they are huge, and delish!! Lattes are better than Starbucks! The staff are always nice and courteous! Def a good bang for your buck!

Just had Cinnamon Rolls and a blond brown. The quality was not good, texture or flavor. As a home Baker, the dough was not allowed to rise if the rolls were yeast based or another type leaving agent was not used. The rolls were heavy and somewhat oily. The blondie was dry and lacked. Freshness was definetly apparent. Open hours seem inconsistent even though the clerk said 0730 to 1700 are the hours open. We have tried to stop at various times only to find the store closed.

I have yet to try out their sister restaurant Kitchen 519 but since my gf and I were both up super early (its a rarity) we finally made it in. What drove me here a bit sooner than normal was them having breakfast sandwiches and they were fantastic. The bacon, egg, cheese, spinach on fresh brioche(?) bun with garlic mayo had me craving another right after finishing the last bite and ALL day long. These sammies are not a quick pickup item since it was made fresh so make time for it or call ahead. The day was amazingly cool for late July so we sat outside for about 15 minutes awaiting said wonders. All bits of this were nice and fresh so I will 1000% be a regular for these. Even though it was earlier than 10am we grabbed a chocolate donut and a green tea donut which were sadly not what we expected. They weren't bad at all just way to dense for my taste. We both had a bite of each and that was it....very sad post breakfast meal. The donuts were only $1 each so we weren't pissed that we wasted money at all. The pupcakes were .50 each and our doggie loved them so thats a huge plus. We will try the cupcakes next time we are here so hopefully those will turn out better than the donuts for us.

Ordered cupcakes for my little guys bday... first of all the amount I paid for the cupcakes weren’t worth it. I could’ve made them myself (and I’m not a baker). They were hard, the icing was really thick and hard and the “I” in my son’s name (I asked for some cupcakes to spell out my son’s name) was actually a “1” definitely won’t be ordering anything from them again....

I am looking forward to stopping in again now that it is reopened. I tried a few items in the past - birthday cake, cupcakes, cookies, specialty cakes, and was disappointed. I am local to the area and love supporting small businesses, so I will definitely come back and try again with the new menu and staff. I am looking forward to giving this another try. Thanks!
