Crab Avenue

Really great seafood spot in Glendale, with huge portions, lots of seasoning, and plenty of space to sit, both indoors and outdoors. The Clam Chowder is to die for. It’s rich, thick, and made with lots of clams. I was really pleasantly surprised. The Shrimps, Sausage, and Potatoes were all seasoned to perfection, and served in enormous portions. Service was great. It’s a pricey spot, but worth it.

We went to Crab Avenue after a full day of activities in Hollywood and Rodeo Drive. Our party of 9 was promptly sat and service ran quickly. The menus offers many food options, including but not limited to seafood. I, being a person who doesn't eat shell fish, got the Steak So-Cal Plate. It was amazing. It was like a seafood boil... minus the seafood, on a plate. Everything was well seasoned and amazing. Everyone else got some variation of seafood, pasta or surf and turf and we all admitted it was amazing. Definitely a place to go again if we ever visit the area again.

The place is super busy despite being a Sunday afternoon. Just the same, Alex was the best! He was sweet, nice, attentive, and hands down gave the best service ever. We were worried because usually busy = poor service, but not here. We had several questions because it was our friend first time here and he answered every question we had and made great recommendations. We are definitely coming back. Thank you, Alex and Crab Avenue crew - you guys freaking rock!!!

I ate lunch here and got a bowl of gumbo. Service was great and so was the gumbo. I liked the place so well I went back for dinner. Again service was excellent and the food perfect. I had grilled catfish, roasted potatoes and salad. If I were staying at the same Hilton around the corner tomorrow I would eat here again.
