Zankou Chicken

I've been coming here since. It 1st opened up . After my 1st time trying their chicken. I was hooked. It is so good . Hot very juicy and tastes amazing. The meat is so moist and their garlic sauce. Is the cherry on top . Not too forget their hummus. Is very good and blends perfectly with the chicken. If you haven't tried this place. I definitely recommend it . This was one of my mom's favorite places. She passed away in 2014 . Every time I come here. I have great memories of her and I. I know her spirit is there with me .

Love getting my fix of Zankou when I'm in the area. I usually get the Tri-tip Shawarma and Chicken Tarna and combine both for pita sandwiches. The portion of meats are quite generous. We always have leftovers. In my opinion, they are one of the best middle eastern take outs. I also get extra pickled radish and garlic to make extra pita sandwiches.

Great place for Mediterranean food. Plenty menu options to choose from. I recommend the rosted chicken combination. This place accepts cash and card. There is plenty of parking outside, but parking is limited. Parking is free, and there is a guard checking how long cars stay there. Thank you for reading my review. One of my favorite go-to places when visiting the Los Angeles area. Hard to describe how rotisserie chicken can be so much better from one place to another. However, the chicken at Zankou's is amazing. As popular as this place is and how good the food is, there's never a long line as they move the orders pretty quickly. Menu and ordering is very straight-forward. I always keep it simple with chicken and salads with PLENTY of the garlic sauce. You can never have too much of the garlic sauce from Zankou's. I just spread the garlic sauce on a pita, add chicken, add salad, and enjoy. Good food doesn't have to be complicated. I do need to try other things on the menu, but so hard not to get the chicken. Highly recommend.

For the past 15 years I have been a regular at Zankou and honestly believe their chicken is truly the best. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I have tried their kabobs as well, but the Chicken is the main attraction when paired with their garlic paste. I have to deduct one star since their prices have shot through the roof in the past 4-5 years to the point where I have cut back from my visits

My brother and his fiancé recommended this place. We were in the area so had to stop by and try it. We got a tri-tip wrap and roasted chicken wrap, a whole chicken and large order of tabbouleh. I love my tri-tip wrap. The chicken one was good but a little dry. Rotisserie chicken was good too with some tabbouleh. I want to try the beef kabob wrap next time. Definitely recommend this place 😋
