Hilberto's Mexican Food

Moved to the area a few months ago from downtown Phoenix. Have checked out a few places near by and this 1 is by far my favorite. The service is amazing and the lady that works the front and answers calls is always so friendly...I assume she is an owner/manager because she has literally been there every time I have ever went or called regardless of time. The chorizo breakfast burrito is the best I have had here in the valley!!! 1 thing I found very cool about the lady also is when I first moved to the area (Dunlap/43rd) I told her I was going to try some of the "competition" as well. She actually recommended 1 of them and the others I named she didn't speak badly about and was only positive. Which is something most places just don't do. I prefer Hilberto's over the others in the area for the food and the great service!

Mi prima y yo went for breakfast and had burritos with egg chorizo y papas con salsa verde. Yummy! We dined in and the dining area is immaculate. Hope to return on a weekend to try the menudo. Jugo de Jamaica was our beverage of choice that morning and it grew on us as we are used to a gingery Panamanian version.

This has be one of the best places I been to in AZ. The food was outstanding and taste divine and the owner was warm and welcoming to all walks of life. I did not felt judge coming in this establishment as a non binary person. The cook was really hilarious on top of making such delicious quesadilla. Run don’t walk to eat here before it gets popular.

Ordered from Postmates. Large portions. Decent quality. I'm only giving it four stars because the prices are quite high for what you receive. **If you order through Postmates, the prices are drastically lower than what the restaurant actually charges. Our total on Postmates was $18 but the actual bill at the restaurant was $30 so it cost $12 more than expected.
